Also, whats the criteria for joining a biblical foundation class in a church? Isn’t the person supposed to be saved with fruits of transformation first? Are they awarding believers or anyone that can take the exams? .

It's really well, it's just sad to see some folks going to emotionalism road. This same lady I've followed her story for months, even wey before she started attending Logic church the first time. So I was even happy she found her way back to church hoping some changes would begin to start. But yet nothing, she was a believer before so it's not like she's a newbie to the bible. She knows these things, we should see outward expression not someone wanting to continue in her ways. When I saw the award, the first thing I did was check her page maybe she has stopped those kind of content, even as at 2 days ago, 4.days ago she was still saying literally same kind of content.. Omoo, it's bad, and it's not a good look.

When you go to a university convocation, one of the statements that you will hear is that the graduands have proven themselves worthy IN CHARACTER and IN LEARNING. In other words, if you had a 5.0 CGPA but were found to have been involved in riotous conduct or any character flaw, you will NOT be allowed to graduate. In fact, certificates and degrees CAN be revoked if it later comes out that the recipient did not maintain the right character. I have led foundation bible school a few times, and one of the cardinal requirements to graduate, is your adherence to the spirit and letter for what we are teaching you. For example, you cannot be a publicly known stripper, who is proud of their profession, and expect to graduate from a reasonable bible school. If the function of the bible school, or quiz or whatever program she was awarded for, was to raise Christians, raise believers….then it failed woefully by awarding said reward to her. Unless what she won was a bible memorization competition. Before you play the “hypocrisy” card, there is a sense in which a believer can be struggling with a secret sin, but the difference is that they know that they are in the wrong and they desire to stop. That is a very different scenario from someone who knows that what they are doing is wrong and does not care. That is a conscience that has been seared. In the final account, if a church decides that someone who is proud of, and publicly makes content around what the church itself AND the bible stands against, is worthy of being given an award; then something is wrong somewhere. Lady Kay don make me open Tiktok. I finally watched the video. To be fair to her, she studied hard and came first out of 158 students. She met the criteria for her award, and the pastor understanding what would follow said, "you earned it, and I can't deny you." The problem here is the criteria for joining and completing the Foundation Class. I believe that people are enrolled into these classes after they're saved, and qualified to graduate (not by exams) by the sustained proof that their testimony is true. That is the problem. See image attached: here is a supposed member who may have completed the foundation class saying she likes her content. So, my take is that the criteria for joining and completing the class should be scriptural and should reflect that sanctification should be the proof of justification. Those who have been saved by grace should deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and live soberly, righteous and godly in this present world. And if the pipeline is not fixed through the right theology, the outcomes won't be different. And in one of her videos, she admitted that she has been taught that things should be different but in obstinacy she refused. See in the comments. And if you go through the comments of the award video, she repeatedly said that she passed the exams. The point she's is sharing is that the award has nothing to do with her repenting. She got it because she had the highest score. Looking at it as a standalone video, and assuming it's for a Bible Quiz which we should liken to the exam, anyone who has done Youth Ministry might pass it off because you'll see that brilliant, obstinate youth, you're praying for. But this is a pipeline for people who are said to have accepted the faith and taught the first principles of the Gospel. The outcome should be better than than this, ought to be, must be. So @SpiricocoNg approach contextualized everything logic church have been teaching and what it's producing, and the backclash he received also contextualized that he has been about things like this for sometime. But the honest truth is that while Lady Kay deserve her award and right to her life without judgement, LOGIC church don't. And if you don't see this as a Logic Church issue, rather than Lady Kay and her content, you'll be missing a lot.

Dear Pilgrim, The days that scriptures prophesied about have long arrived. I only pray and hope you are aware and living prepared. Having your sandals on your feet and your lions girded. Pastors are standing before the unsaved and unregenerate and rather than call sin what it is for the sake of the souls of men, sin that damns a soul is called spicy, mistake, or inevitable behaviour. Preachers are more concerned about being liked and accepted than confronting sin and iniquity for the sake of the souls of men. Hell's mouth gapes open but preachers who should know the terror and wrath of God, rather than warn the people, they have bound themselves with an unholy vow of "silence" The war for the souls of men has intensified but many places that should be arks of preservation are sadly glorified classrooms for carnal philosophy, where flesh must be pampered, and altars for the god of entertainment is worshipped! Alas, your eyes must be fixed on the prize which awaits them who live righteously in this world. For the Bible says that a day comes when God will demand accountability. Because we are children of Light, we are not in the dark, such that the Day will take us unawares. Now more than ever, be reminded that, those who name the name of the Lord MUST depart from iniquity. For sinners will have their day in the hands of an angry God. May they that read understand!
