The issue is simple: Why would a customer be asked to pull away from the pick-up window to wait in a designated area to receive their food order if there are NO OTHER CARS IN THE DRIVE-THRU LINE BEHIND THEM? You initially responded in a DM acknowledging "... that’s definitely annoying, especially when you’re in a hurry." Subsequent to this acknowledgement, you requested the following info from me. "could you please share your details like full name, phone number, email address, restaurant address, date and time of your visit, how you placed the order (whether through the Mobile App, Drive-thru, or In-store), where the order was picked up & we'll look into it." The only thing you were asked was to explain why it would ever be necessary for the customer to leave the pick-up window under the situation explained. This is not about outing one particular establishment or receiving coupons to compensate me for the annoying inconvenience I endured. This is simply about getting an answer to the simple question asked. Because my email and phone number are private, I did consent to calling back either your Chief Operations Officer or the Chairman of your Corporate Board of Directors if you would provide me with their phone numbers. Since my initial post many people have weighed in with similar experiences and if you desire to compensate them with freebies, I've offered to help you distribute a promo-code to those affected. My suggestion was to use McSORRY as the code. Again as for me, I'm just interested in an answer to the question regarding a situation which you already acknowledge is annoying to your customers. Moving forward, you continued to ignore my requests and I pointed out that if the answer was because the restaurants are trying to manipulate service times by causing timers to be reset prior to service having been completed, that you may be involved in a big conspiracy where future franchise owners are buying restaurants based on falsified efficiency data. Naturally I tagged @SECGov to look into this matter and potentially open an investigation if you don't address the problem. Finally, when the threat of @SECGov didn't phase you, I was forced to plead my case to one of your best and most supportive customers. Your lack of urgency to address this finally forced me to appeal to @realDonaldTrump to issue the following executive order: By executive order, I, Donald J. Trump make it illegal for a McDonalds restaurant to ask a patron to pull away from the pick-up window to wait in a designated area for their order when there are NO OTHER CARS IN THE DRIVE-THRU LINE BEHIND THEM. I am confident he will do this as soon as he gets a gap in his schedule. We both know there is no circumstance where you would ever make Donald J Trump have the Presidential Limousine pull into a designated area to wait for his order if no other cars were in the drive-thru line. I await an answer or tomorrow this issue will escalate if I haven't received a response.
