It’ll be a lot easier to add them from that page then through the app, so hoping that happens.

Just started the @wsop main event streams (thanks for the ESPN select tip @Kevmath!)
1. Bringing back that cowboy jingle from the old school episodes is the best nostalgia ever
2. @Ali_Nejad and @NickSchulman have evolved into the best commentators in any sport, period. I hope their careers skyrocket after exposure on ESPN
3. @NormanChad and @lonmceachern on the break desk really leans into their strengths and love having them as part of the broadcasts
4. The player segments are pretty good so far (@JasonKoon etc), hopefully we’ll have more recs on these segments on later episodes
5. Always fun watching elite players trying to navigate these fields, and really makes you question what % of exploitative play vs GTO is really needed in these fields

Thankfully, this was taken care of in my favor and am thankful for that.
I only tagged WSOP to add context, and apologize for doing that. If the long distance charges were $2-3 each, I wouldn’t have said anything about it.

I’ve managed to lose my phone (and have it recovered) on this trip, this time it was at the Horseshoe.
Not sure what the odds are of that happening over the course of an 8-week trip, but I’m truly #blessed

To answer this question seriously:
With the new owners running the show, I didn’t feel it was a 100% certainty I was returning as they went in a different direction regarding the WSOP Twitter account.
This year especially, I made very few tweets on the WSOP Twitter account. They preferred me focusing on my Twitter/WSOP LIVE app instead.

The IRS hearing on the 90% rule has wrapped. Great job by the speakers. Good summary & play-by-play in the posts below.
I have a solid handle on both the written & oral testimony now on the record and hope to submit a report to House Ways & Means tax subcommittee members by end of month. Not waiting around for the IRS.
It’s time for @repdinatitus or @RepHorsford / @RepMaxMiller bills repealing the 90% cap to get scheduled for markup.

I was able to stay for everyone's testimony and think there was a wealth of knowledge and experiences that were shared. We truly did our best. @ToddWitteles did a superb summary of everyone's testimony by person, so please visit his thread (which I retweeted here ⬇️) While there was a running thread that taxpayers must not be required to pay phantom income and the IRS should put that before Congress to revisit, speakers provided testimony addressing real economic and social behavior consequences of this rule. Speakers addressed the need for more guidance, because the law is difficult to implement - particularly (but not limited to) what is a "session." I was thrilled by the diversity of speakers, including but not limited to: - Representative Dina Titus - recreational gamblers (all kinds, not just poker) - professional gamblers (poker), including @Poker906 - Mike Vanaki, the Director of Government Relations at the American Gaming Association - a CPA (who REALLY knocked it outta the park, imo, and even included a great question applicable for stakers) - Katie Stone (@KatieStonePoker) provided some harrowing ramifications that Black Friday had as an example of why this 90% law will fall hardest on honest taxpayers. - Todd focused on implementation suggestions, such as defining "session" for each gambling activity Things I was not thrilled about: - 2 (or 3?) speakers were no-show and one had a call drop - the IRS panel didn't ask a single question

Hey guys, for the next six weeks I will be hosting a radio show on Sirius XM called Poker Weekly, every Saturday at 8pm EST on channel 82, Mad Dog Sports Radio. Sirius hit me before the World Series about a trial type run, and if they like it they will cultivate more poker stuff, which would give other players looks to grow the game we love, and make some dough lol. This is a great honor for me, I never thought I would be doing stuff like this. We have some great guests lined up, what I could really use from you guys are some questions, and some hands. A big part of the show will be breaking hands down people send in, or maybe at some point we take live call ins also.
