They use these citations of the church fathers, these walls of text, to really obfuscate the debate; because, they haven't studied these church fathers for years. They don't know the ins and outs of their positions intimately. All they have done is read maybe 1 or 2 of their works if even anything beyond the paragrpah being cited, and they're banking on the fact that you don't know the church fathers intimately either. So when they give you these citations , they appear to be proving their position. This is basic sophistry, the psa bros do it all the time for their gaymer clan of a group. Another thing is everyone of these groups online hate Jay Dyer and will take time out of their day just to curse his name in the chat, comments, or the debate itself even when the topic has nothing to do with @JayDyer

@JohnKiriakou It depends on what your definition of a human being is. If its a living organism that can eventually become a human then masterbation is murder, but most sane people would disregard that entirely. Is it when the sperm is accepted by the egg? Heartbeat? Birth? A Palestinian?

Personally I am pro choice, but honestly Robby makes a very strong and principled argument. The American body politic seriously needs to have conversations like this. Americans also need to learn that it's ok to agree to disagree. Disagreement doesn't make someone an enemy.
