What an unbelievable missed opportunity not having any dialogue in Maul Shadowlord between Vader and Maul was.
I"m gonna spoil some stuff but none of you will ever watch this, but in case you want to, you have been warned.
Vader shows up at the end of the penultimate episode and the finale starts with them just fighting.
Now remember at the end of clone wars season 7 it's revealed that Maul is trying to lure Anakin and Obi Wan to Mandalore to kill Anakin because he has seen in the force that Anakin is the key to Darth Sidious's plans.
As he fails and the Republic falls and the Empire takes it's place it only makes sense that Maul would put together that Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker.
So when they meet in this scene here you could have had some proper Star Wars dialogue:
"So you're Sidious's new apprentice?"
"Aren't you supposed to be dead?"
"I'm hard to kill."
"We shall see."
"Indeed." pregnant pause. "Anakin."
Vader ignites his lightsaber.
Then like all proper Star Wars they talk as they fight.
"Don't be a fool Vader, one day he will toss you aside too." (perfect allusion to what palps literally does when luke shows up)
"Perhaps I will toss him aside first."
"I once thought as you do." (throwing vaders own dialogue in his face)
I'm literally screaming inside.
@EckhartsLadder@CDonnick1 I think in the old canon, Darth Plagueis considered himself Anakin’s literal creator since it was his experiments with the force to discover immortality that led to him being born.
@EckhartsLadder@CDonnick1 I’m pretty sure he did (at least in the old canon, if not the new canon too, Darth Plagueis was alive at this point in time and all three of him, Sidious, and Maul knew the force created a boy on Tatooine), he just wasn’t his main priority at that point in time
@Acyn Zero substance at all with these fuckin losers. Just performative bullshit while they all individually run our country into the fuckin ground. It’s fuckin sickening. The state of America politics is in crisis and has been for a long time
@IngrahamAngle@AmbNathanSales It’s literally impossible to overstate how fuckin retarded you are. “Giving Iranians some space to figure it out themselves” what the FUCK are you fuckin talking about? That makes ZERO fuckin sense you fuckin moron
🚨 TRUMP GIVES IRAN ONE LAST OFF-RAMP
@AmbNathanSales: “What the president is doing by calling a pause now is giving the Iranians some space to figure it out themselves.”
“If they're not, we can always resume the operation.”
@RyanWill1103@Coach_Yac Good lord man, Brayden Willis hasn’t been #9 for over a year. He’s #82. Last year #9 was Skyy Moore and he’s on the Packers now. I’m fairly certain #9 is available.
@Coach_Yac Kurtis Rourke is probably going to be practicing with him at rookie mini camp too, since he never was officially activated onto SF’s roster last year
49ers 3rd-round pick RB Kaelon Black talks about his draft night:
“I got a call from California and I answered it, then I realized what was going on. Next thing you know, I’m talking to John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan. Then seeing my name on the TV was one of those surreal feelings. I’m blessed for the opportunity.”
Kaelon was asked if anyone on the 49ers reached out yet:
“Yeah on draft night it was Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, Fred Warner, Brock Purdy and then my old teammate from Indiana, Kurtis Rourke, hit me up. So it was just like, this is real.”

@Coach_Yac He’d actually be a lot better than Joey Bosa, but Clowney always waits until like August/September or the middle of the season to sign somewhere these days
CBS Sports lists DE Jadeveon Clowney as a “best fit” for the 49ers
Clowney just turned 33 years old in February, but he’s coming off a season where he had 8.5 sacks and 40 pressures for the Cowboys
@bestworstjohn@Coach_Yac He’s been a full-time edge rusher for a while now, dip shit. He ain’t like Mykel Williams at all. He had a pressure percentage of around 19%, FOURTH BEST OF ALL EDGE RUSHERS IN 2025. That ranked top 10 of *all* DL.
@Exposingseries@realMaalouf Why someone from the Netherlands thinks they’re able to have an opinion in literally anything at all is mind-blowing. At what point in time are y’all coming to realize y’all don’t matter whatsoever?
How did two billion Muslims, who had some of the biggest empires in history and wiped out entire civilizations, manage to convince the world that they are a persecuted minority and victims of ‘colonization’?
@49ers_Avs@LombardiHimself “Oh no, one of the best players in the entire league is stuck on the 49ers for two more years. How awful!” Shut your dumbass the fuck up
@49ers_Avs@LombardiHimself Get rid of your best player and still have him take up $34 million against the cap without him even being on the team? How is it possible for you to be this fuckin retarded? Trent Williams is being paid like the 6th best OT, that’s cheap as fuck for a literal hall of Famer
The 49ers lowered Trent Williams’ 2026 salary-cap by a staggering $26 million — from $46.3m to $20m — with his new contract.
SF now has over $60 million of projected cap space, armed for in-season maneuvers (trades) and a massive, needed carryover to 2027
@spotrac@Eminem0880 I think he might be given that $11.5 million in cash the following year in 2028, but it sounds like it becomes realized before the season starts in 2027. Tell me what you think about this. It still sounds like both team and player is happy with him getting another $25 million
Still working to confirm full guarantee structure, but it appears that OT Trent WIlliams' renegotiation with the #49ers will pay him $24.5M in 2026 (down from $33M), while also freeing up $23.8M of cap space this season.
San Francisco now holds a league-high $67M of Top 51 space according to our data.
@grantcohn Jauan Jennings literally gets bullied by small DBs when the ball is in the air. He can’t even make contested catches because he’s weak as shit. All Jennings does is beat up on tiny corners in the run game. Every other play he gets totally dominated
@grantcohn Literally the only thing Jauan Jennings can do better than Kirk (or well at all) is run block. That’s it. There’s zero value in Jennings. None whatsoever. He completely destroys your passing game just by being on the field since he’s so fuckin useless as an actual WR
