The CEO of Binance ( @cz_binance ) just said something most people in crypto don't want to hear. The industry is "too transparent," and it's actually a huge problem. Institutions/whales don't want transparency - they want to benefit from blockchain's efficiency, whilst having the same privacy-preserving elements that traditional rails offer. Whoever properly solves this will be a big winner.

When I mathematically debunked singularities in high school, my teacher told me to try that nonsense in college. When I did it my freshman year it began a seven month interaction with other professors across the country, at the end of which everyone just sort of decided to ignore it and keep getting their grants to study black holes. Any of you out there who are good at math can probably do this too. And you can do it on a napkin. Singularities are supposed to be what black holes are. So massive, with so much gravity, they collapse into a zero volume point in space. The problem with that is what happens if two of them are ever on a collision course? The force of gravity between two objects is a function of mass over the distance between the centers of the objects. That denominator never truly approach zero because things have mass and volume and the objects crash into each other before the centers actually meet. However, this would not happen in a singularity, since the denominator, representing the distance between the two points, has a limit approaching zero on collision, Creating a gravitational force equation with a limit approaching infinity. I’m not exactly sure how much force it takes to accelerate something to light speed, but I’m sure it’s less than infinity, so the existence of singularities breaks rules of physics. Also, if they infinitely warp space and time, then the universe could not have had a start date, and it debunks the Big Bang. Have some fun with that today.
