When a founder joins a VC fund, I wait and see how long it is until they have VC Eyes That's when they look right through you if you can't make them money Usually it takes 4-6 months I can even see it on the 20VC thumbnails

@sarthakgh There is little to compare between the two. The bay is all tech and NYC is run by finance with a sprinkle of tech.

My take on the NYC vs SF debate is that there has to be a place with tech monoculture and SF happens to it. There aren’t multiple Bollywoods or Hollywoods. People self select themselves and this entire debate of comparing to find a winner is futile.

On network coverage. It hasn’t changed since I was a kid. Be creative. Just. Do. Something. Lastly get rid of the bro session in between games. Maybe player profiles, maybe history of stadiums, future draft picks to fill needs, literally anything other than the bros. Rant is over

On a run play up the middle should not be a penalty. Third they need to decide if special teams or hitting quarterbacks is legal? Either do it or don’t but this in between is killing the game. Fourth, commercials. I’m not a soccer fan but that game has got flow! Need to innovate

Watching Giants game, have not watched much football over the past two years, and I understand why the product is suffering. Yes the violence and concussions have and should have impact on the game but that is only half the story.

@pt @nickarner Depends if it just needs new keys or a whole new keyboard. New keys depending on model, can be a 5 min fix, new keyboard takes a bit and can be costly. Were keys working but just lose when you brought in the machine?

@nickarner I think I "only" need a couple new keys, but it's hard to tell if that involves fixing the keyboard vs just popping on new pieces of plastic. The plastic key tops don't look visibly broken though.

Smartweb: If you take a macbook in with keys that are falling off, can they fix that on the spot, or do I need to give up my laptop for a few days?
