Thank you, Rowley, you’ve just made my point. You’ve described British culture as a blend of history, manners, customs, and civic values, the very things James O’Brien sneers at as undefinable. And yet, somehow, we all know what you mean. So when someone says that mass immigration is eroding those things, maybe pause before mocking them. Because if culture can be felt, named, and passed on (as you’ve just shown), it can also be lost. And denying that is just ideology pretending to be intellect.

@LBC O'Brien's got a point. Starmer's chasing a unicorn made of "zero" while forgetting those already here aren't disappearing into thin air. Perhaps focus on integration, not just aspiration? The "uncomfortable" feeling might just be unfamiliarity.
