Yesterday’s “College Skills and Drills showcase”. These young men put in some work and should be applauded. Appreciate the coaches being engaged and teaching technique and skills. New year and looking forward to more “W”s. Grit, intensity motivation, skills, accountability. O/D
Trying to get stronger in all aspects of life, it’s not just about sports but also character and building resilience during difficult situations. It is offseason and can’t wait or put things off until tomorrow. Chap Football…
This is our weekend routine, trying to build resilience and grit. Pushing to the limit “ Pain is temporary, It may last a minute or hour, or day or year, but eventually it will subside. If I quit it lasts forever” Mike Tyson…Chap football “26”. “Trenches”
"Bad habits have a cost.
Good habits have a price.
Either way you have to pay.
The meaningful things- we pay for before.
The foolish things- we pay for after."
Winners pay upfront (sacrifice, effort, discipline).
Everyone else pays later (regret).
That’s the difference.
Alex got some good work in this weekend at Fort Hood Stadium and Warrior Way gym. Conducting some strength and conditioning. I explained the saying “pain is weakness leaving the body”. The game is won in the trenches. Got to get that win. Chap football.
