@brian_mutiga Yu don't wake up one morning & say yu want to become President & expect us to ignore red flags on your CV Surprisingly guys like yu get hooked very easily by hollow speeches His brutal reign of terror at the top echelons of the security sector can't be erased by an interview

Fred Matiang'i looks sharp, relaxed & composed. He understands what it takes to run a country in a proper way & I now believe he would make a good president. If he did all the things UDA poorly paid bloggers say he did when he was a CS, William Ruto would be on his case. If there's a president who would be tough on William Ruto & other corrupt politicians then it is Fred Matiang'i.

I have watched Dr Fred Matiang'i keenly on Citizen TV Sunday Live, and he sounds very visionary. He has said Singapore is a laughable joke. The president was elected to lead, but now they are looting. He has deconstructed President Ruto by telling him that he is ready to table his record of work. He has confirmed that Ruto is asking for a second term to do what exactly? Looting? Dr Fred Matiang'i speaks with a lot of authority. He has information at finger tips without throwing of figures randomly like a PP1 reciting vowels. Dr Fred Matiang'i is the leader we need. Mr Fix It

Guys, Safaricom’s "App’Graded" security on the MyOneApp is not a protective patch; it is the deployment of a digital cage. We have audited the tech and the corporate PR. Here is the systemic reality of your new app update: 👇🏾 Surveillance Handshake They force you off your private Wi-Fi and mandate cellular data for login. Why? Because on Wi-Fi, you are behind a generic router. On their cellular network, they execute "Network Binding" (pinging your exact cell)-tower coordinates and extracting your MSISDN. You are forced to physically geolocate yourself for the state intelligence grid just to access your own money. Choking Rivals Demanding you set Safaricom as your "primary data line" is textbook monopolistic bullying. Furthermore, the claim that it’s a "one-time setup" is a lie. If you remove the Safaricom SIM to use a cheaper Airtel or Faiba data line, the app kicks you out. They are weaponizing your M-Pesa dependence to permanently disable your dual-SIM autonomy. Geographic Hypocrisy If "Network Binding" was truly a global security standard to fight scammers, Safaricom would deploy it in Ethiopia. They don't. In Ethiopia, they are challengers and cannot afford to bully users. This specific digital cage is strictly reserved for the captive Kenyan market where they hold a 99% monopoly. Bait-and-Switch They use "matatu scammers" as an alibi. But global banking apps stop 'cloning' through Device Binding (i.e locking the app to your phone's hardware ID), which works perfectly on Wi-Fi. Safaricom chose Network Binding instead because Device Binding protects you, while Network Binding protects their monopoly. USSD Sabotage They are deliberately degrading and throttling the SIM toolkit (*334#) to frustrate the Hustler into downloading the heavily surveilled MyOneApp. They are destroying the free bridge so you are forced to pay the toll on their new data-mining highway. THE SWARM'S DIRECTIVE: A monopoly does not innovate to serve you; it innovates to trap you. When a corporation that admits in court to sharing customer data with the DCI without a warrant forces you into a geographic tracking grid, you must resist the digital migration. Demand USSD reliability. Seek decentralized alternatives.

Is it (il)legal to draft pleadings using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools? Kenya's High Court has set aside a judgment delivered in December 23rd 2025 after it emerged that pleadings in the case had been generated using AI tools. · The High Court holds that this raises serious concerns about fairness & the integrity of court processes · "The drafting of Pleadings in Kenya is regulated by Order 2 of the civil Procedure rules" · "The generation of pleadings through unknown tools or artificial intelligence gives an unfair advantage to the person drafting using such tools. This amounts to an affront to access to justice as guaranteed under Article 48 of the Constitution" · "Drafting pleadings, using artificial tools unknown to the Civil Procedure Rules and artificial intelligence which are not provided for in our Laws, gives such a user or litigant an unfair advantage over their rival in an adversarial system" · "Kenya is currently working towards legally embracing artificial intelligence. Once the legislators come up with an appropriate legislative framework of at all, then artificial intelligence will then form part of our Laws"

When Uhuru left power, NSSF was at flat rate of KSh 200. For Ruto, it's 6% on the employer side and 6% on the employee side. When Uhuru was leaving power, the dollar was KSh 118. Ruto took it to 160 and brought it down to 129. When Uhuru was leaving power, petrol was going for KSh 158 with subsidy. Ruto took it to 217, brought it down to 178, and now it’s at 198 with subsidy. When Uhuru was leaving power, the maximum NHIF contribution was KSh 1,700. For Ruto, it's 2.75% of your salary. During Uhuru’s time, KSh 100 would give you about 6 KPLC units of tokens, but under Ruto you now get about 3 units for the same amount. During Uhuru’s time, VAT across key sectors was 8%, but under Ruto it has gone up to 16%. For Uhuru, affordable housing meant no deductions on your payslip, but under Ruto, you now have an additional mandatory deduction. Despite all this, borrowing hasn’t stopped. In fact, it has picked up. So, how has Ruto reduced the cost of living ?🤔

We all saw Uhuru attending parties and concerts in the country, and everyone was happy to see him regardless of their political affiliations. We all saw Uhuru attending Formula One Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, and no one was angry about it. How did Uhuru do it? How did he manage to have Kenyans behind him? How? Ruto can not even go to Church without facing hostility and someone shouting WANTAM. I mean, he can not even do the right thing. I wonder what would happen to him if he dared attend a concert. You see it all trickles down to EMPATHY. Uhuru was empathetic to the plights of Kenyans. Ironic, isn't it? That one born of privilege and status understands basic tenets of human plight, unlike the low born Ruto, who should automatically be empathetic since he too has experienced them. The masses just want to feel valued, appreciated, and understood. It makes the burden bearable. Someone please tag the video of Uhuru dancing with NYS cadets.

Have you ever asked yourself where Aoko gets her “intel”? Intel that’s almost always accurate. Most of the time. Do you think it’s a coincidence that her intel is almost always correct? She was the first person yesterday to post that Senator Methu had been arrested and was being taken to Kisumu to be charged with treason, which turned out she was “lying”. My guess is as good as yours, a random blogger can’t be that accurate with her intel. Akili kichwani!

The latest intelligence reports indicate that if @edwinsifuna runs for the presidency, he will easily defeat President Ruto. Hon. Sifuna has become the single most powerful opponent against Ruto. The report also touched on the possibility of Ruto & his cabal being prosecuted & jailed. Sifuna has been very clear on how corrupt politicians must be dealt with. He has been very articulate that his government will not repeat the mistakes of President Kibaki. It is known that Kibaki failed to hold Moi accountable, & that has led to blatant theft of public resources. Sifuna has made it very clear that he will prosecute all those who have been stealing public resources.

On April 12, the same day the Islamabad talks collapsed after 21 hours and Trump announced a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a crowd in Ankara: “Just as we entered Libya and Karabakh, we can enter Israel. There is no reason not to do it.” He added: “Had Pakistan not been mediating in the war between the US and Iran, we would have shown Israel its place.” A NATO ally since 1952 just threatened to invade the country that NATO’s most powerful member is blockading a strait to protect. Turkey is in the same alliance as the United States. Israel is the United States’ closest partner in the Middle East. And Erdogan announced on a global stage that the only thing preventing Turkish military action against Israel is the mediation role of Pakistan, which hosted peace talks that failed twelve hours earlier. There is no Turkish military mobilization. There are no troop movements. There are no naval deployments toward the Eastern Mediterranean. Erdogan’s Libya intervention in 2019 was a proxy operation supporting the Government of National Accord with drones and advisers. His Karabakh reference is to Turkey’s support for Azerbaijan in 2020 and 2023, also proxy and air-supported. Neither was a direct ground invasion of a state with a modern air force, missile defense systems, nuclear ambiguity, and the full backing of the American military. The threat is rhetorical. The threat is also the most explicit statement of military intent by a NATO member against a US-aligned partner since Turkey’s 1974 Cyprus operation. Netanyahu responded by calling Erdogan the “Hitler of our time.” Israel’s ambassador to the UN called the statement “a declaration of intent by a NATO member.” No official US response has been issued as of April 13. But the timing is the story. On April 12, five things happened within twelve hours. The Islamabad talks collapsed. Trump announced the Hormuz blockade. Erdogan threatened to invade Israel. Iran’s embassy in Ghana posted that Vance “flew home empty-handed” and said “Iran said a BIG NO.” And Araghchi announced he would seek talks with Europeans in Berlin, Paris, and London, bypassing the United States entirely. Five escalations or pivots on the same day. The peace architecture that took a week to build disintegrated in a single Saturday. The mediator’s country (Pakistan) is being praised for trying. The ceasefire broker (China) is preparing MANPADs for the country it helped bring to the table. The NATO ally hosting US bases (Turkey) is threatening the country those bases indirectly support. The country that refused to join the war (Spain) is in Beijing. And the country that started the war (the United States) is now blockading the strait it spent six weeks trying to open. Every actor is moving in a direction that makes the next actor’s position harder to hold. Turkey’s threat forces the US to choose between NATO solidarity and Israeli security. Iran’s Europe pivot forces Vance’s “final offer” into competition with softer European terms. China’s MANPAD delivery forces the US to confront the country that brokered the only pause in fighting. And Trump’s blockade forces every toll-paying nation, including the mediator Pakistan, to choose between Iranian coordination and American interdiction. The war is no longer between two countries. It is between every alliance, every institution, and every assumption about how the world is organized. And it is all happening faster than any single government can process. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

I encourage Mike Arteta not to sign the contract, leave Arsenal after this season. I really want to see the fans experience the life they want with a new manager! They think that is an easy life. Ask them after Mikel Arteta who do you want as manager? Madrid can’t find a manager! Even Barcelona is failing to find one. Liverpool can’t find one and you think there are many out there for you to pick from? Give me a name or a manager who has history of success winning that will get you a trophy right away after Mikel… Please Mikel Leave you don’t deserve us for sure! Your love for the club and efforts are being taken for granted!

You have to be better than you were today. “Bournemouth pressed exceptionally well, but it's about sticking together, and you are going to have to, they have a huge game in the midweek, and everyone is going to be writing you off now. “Will that change the mentality of the players? This was William Ruto in 2006 at Milimani Law Courts after being charged with fraud. The prosecution told the court that he received KSh 96 million from Kenya Pipeline Company by claiming he was selling them land in Ngong. The land measured 40.5 hectares but did not belong to him. While addressing the Nairobi County Assembly yesterday, Ruto said he is struggling with land grabbers. He must be struggling with himself.
