It was a great season, the Canadiens making the playoffs is huge for the development of this young core. However, this management group has to recognize they need real top line scoring help, can't ignore it like previous regimes. I trust Hughes and Gorton know that.

Not a single receiver in the draft, from round 3 and beyond, was projected to be anywhere in same class and skill level as those on team today. Any WR being added was always planned to come from free agency, with the draft focus being 💯 on defense. For those naysayers, what are you so upset and misguided about? This draft was never about drafting a WR and all season ending loses over last 4 seasons were a result of defensive side not making the stands needed to win. Add in Bills being #1 in points scored for full season and one should rightly surmise the reasons why a WR was not drafted.
