However, good news, there are 4 other candidates that showed up tonight for all British Columbians. This was a record day for membership sales in the CPBC thanks to @junonewscom highlighting the campaign malpractice committed by Caroline’s Eastern Shot Callers.

BREAKING: The Conservative Party of BC has informed me that they have broke a membership sales record today, signing up more members after the Juno News Debate than any other day on record.

@matthewfarb32 @AnthonyRussoBC I was a riding captain along with Anthony. neither one of us were frustrated with our role or lack of influence. Like Anthony’s post states it was due to staff going after volunteers and skipping the debate after her team bought up half the tickets.

I’ve stepped down as a team captain for Caroline Elliott. You can compromise on strategy, but not on core values. Buying out debate seats, backing out with shifting excuses, and staff going after volunteers crossed that line for me. #bcpoli #leadershipdebate #vanpoli

@BillboardChris When you commit to attend a debate, buy up the majority of the seats and then back out, that compromises integrity. When your staff slander volunteers, and then go online and attack anyone questioning you, that compromises respect.

@AnthonyRussoBC @BruceBanman Sounds like she isn't in the driver's seat. Not a good look for someone auditioning to lead a party and a province. Anthony, if you have doubts about leadership capabilities, give Iain Black a second look. He's got the experience BC needs.

I think it is a valid point: Debate, scrums, question period, answering hard questions is part of the job as leader. Voters have a valid right to see any leadership hopeful in the hot seat.
