Combat Wombat (Not the YouTuber)

I started a givesendgo if anyone would be so kind as to share it. My neighbors dog was mauled a few months back and, being the resident animal guy, they called me to come help. She was snatched up by the back and shaken like a rag doll. I got there and did as much triage as I could but she needed to be rushed to the ER. While my neighbors were arguing about not having the money I asked another neighbor for a towel, wrapped her up, put her in my care, and rushed her to the vet myself. I couldn’t just watch her die and do nothing. I paid out of my own pocket to get her stablized. I’ve made my peace with never getting that money back but being the person I am, I KNOW I’ll be summoned for another emergency at some point. I’d like to have some sort of cushion and if it gets met I’ll hand the rest over to a rescue or people in need of animal assistance. Thank y’all. Went to see how the thread was going. I’m not surprised. I AM surprised to see the number of people condemning this moron from what would be called their own “side”. Maybe there’s hope after all. Someone had to be first. 😊 My 3 kids are siblings that we adopted out of foster care… My cat is from a shelter, my dog literally walked in off the street, and my new dog already lived in the house that we moved into in January… when we leave the house, the dog is coming with us. I get it. 😊

So I received a call from the Hope team at @GiveSendGo today while I was at work and had a woman named Casey pray that my campaign would be successful. It’s been a pretty hard few weeks and honestly the thought behind it made my day that much better. I’m glad they have such kind people working for them because even though I was unable to answer the call she still left me a voicemail praying for success. This is what we need more of in the world whether you are religious or not but it’s the intent for someone else to achieve something. Thank you @jacobawells and @GiveSendGo for what you are doing.
