@QiqiZine The mod in question is Cym AKA Krolias! Say their name! They have stolen from and delayed fulfilment over 30 other zines! Many of them charity zines!
Protect your customers and contributors! Not the one who's running a ponzi scheme with zines!

tl;dr:
Our finance/shipping mod reported that no items were ordered, though they previously said they only needed to produce zines. Our current plan: transfer all funds to Mod Mads & ordered items will be sent to a new shipping mod, Soul Starshine. We will continue to update.

Funny enough they never mention Cym/krolias by name. They're practically tripping over themselves to not hold Cym accountable!

This right here is part of the problem! Cym's fellow mods keep protecting them and confusing the issue with their own lies!
What's fact is that Cym stole from about 30 zines! Some they took everything from!
If you do the math, they've probably stolen double what Ree did!

@gisweetszine Cym aka Krolias stole the funds of and/or held up production and shipping for about 30 zines across at least 4 fandoms! For some reason all other mods keep protecting them and trying to cover it up. Multiple lies have been told to customers to confuse the paper trail!

This zine isn't being transparent! Their funding has been compromised because their shipping mod went rogue! That's why it's been half a year since their last update!

More on the Cym/kroalias situation: the money appears to have been withdrawn JUST prior to Cym telling @/FE3HopesZine they couldn't issue refunds without jeopardizing other projects. So the commingled funds were conveniently misappropriated JUST before any admission of trouble.

Once again, I encourage people to urge the mods to admit actual accountability in joining Cym in 20+ projects.
How long are we going to be ok with repeat “no updates yet” messages.
The money is gone and Cym seems to be paying it out of their day job paycheck to avoid a lawsuit

As we approach the end of November, we have asked Kroalias to confirm if they are still on track to complete refunds OR propose a new deadline if this is not possible. We have not yet heard back from them, but will keep the pressure on them to complete refunds in a timely manner

It's very sad that zine mods on one of the few zines that customers can still charge back are protecting Cym instead of their customers!

@SumeruZine If you are checking this post for an update, please consider chargebacking ASAP. The finance mod has lost all of the funds and the mods have not updated us on the situation.

If they weren’t in dire straights they should be issuing an announcement to reassure customers but they’re not! They’re ignoring their contributors who are begging for answers! This zine has failed and the mods are protecting Cym with their silence!

This is the reason I mostly stepped away from Fire Emblem zines during the 3H zine boom, and why I was negative about beginner mods running 10+ zines and calling themselves "experienced" before even half of those zines reached fulfillment. I doubt all of these people set out

I’m gonna say it. Zines are actively attracting scammers now. The number of mods who’ve gone rogue or flaked out with zero consequences has shown the world just how rife zines are for exploitation & every new project that recklessly surges forward is contributing to the problem

@MockingbirdZine If you’re not mad that Krolias is taking on more shipping mod roles for other zines, you should be! @Alhaitham_Zine refused to remove Krolias as shipping mod and opened pre-orders today!

Finance update — former Finance Mod, kroalias, has not given us a timeframe yet for the transfer of funds but they have kept in touch and informed us that its due to offloading multiple zines. We've requested funds for ordering zine proofs so we are currently waiting on that.
