You're right. When Russia releases the prisoners they do look like they've been released from a concentration camp. Ukraine actually abides by the Geneva convention. In the age of the smartphone, the occasional video of people getting arrested for avoiding conscription is actually pretty low. Ukraine couldn't be hammering the Russians if its people weren't resisting so bravely. In my battalion, everyone was a volunteer. Russians fight for the paycheck. A slave army driven to the front to be decimated in meat waves. Same old Russian play book. You should thank your lucky stars that you're the battalion rent boy.
