another thing I seriously don't understand @base you had @baseposting - a shitposting account that was onboarding people on base through shitposting users found the style so appealing and funny that they copied it for whatever reasons now you made it a news channel for base you really took a good working product and changed it into a spammy newspaper. the engagements on the account were insane, and people did pivot to baseposting, started discovering baseapp and more. thats another thing I don't understand, the potential is being wasted a bit in my opinion. the gap between the community and the chain is just incredibly huge, and thats what I personally mean when I say, listen to the community please.

I have not paid a single KOL to promote hoodie. I have received countless proposals. I have looked at a few of their profiles. Based on the tokens I am seeing them tweet about, there must be very few not paying for KOLs currently, of the leading tokens currently on robinhood chain. Perhaps it is an unwritten rule that I should not be talking about this. I don’t know, or particularly care. I have never paid a KOL for promotion with any of my previous projects either. I understand it is a sensible business proposition but never felt right to me. Would love to know what the hoodie community thinks. Is this something I should be doing? Am I doing a disservice to the hoodie community by NOT paying KOLs to promote, if “everyone” else is doing it? Am I wrong to think we can succeed purely on organic support from people who genuinely vibe with the community without paid support from people with influence on crypto twitter?
