@purnishmentmar1 @d_Advocate1 PO made me believe in Nigeria and not all politicians are hungry thiefs. I’m only but an ordinary Nigerian who desires the best for my country. From available records, he’s demonstrated fiscal discipline & restraint in managing public resources (which, in our context, is rare).

I can’t vilify anyone for supporting a candidate. That’s your right, and I’ve always maintained that I will never be found infringing on it. However, there is simply no way to objectively analyse and evaluate Peter Obi’s candidacy and conclude that he is anywhere near presidential material. He has not demonstrated any solid or informed grasp of the economic, financial, or energy policies required at the highest level. He is best known for regurgitating statistics from Bangladesh and India without proper context or comparative analysis. In terms of pedigree, he is not even better than some Chairmanship candidates in Lagos State. We have the benefit of assessing his record over eight years as a State Governor, yet there is no far-reaching institutional policy or defining legacy he can point to. He did the basics at best. He even fell short in some of these basics. There are records of criticisms from that period, including allegations of substandard road construction, as well as the prolonged doctors’ strike that lasted over nine months under his administration. His leadership range is equally unimpressive. This is someone who once boasted about personally supervising his drivers while they fueled vehicles. Does he expect to have the time for such trivialities as President? Effective governance requires the ability to delegate and build systems that function independently, not micromanaging routine tasks. To cap it all, he comes across as hypocritical and deceptive. It doesn’t take much to see through that if you open your eyes. Ironically, it is the supporters of such a sub-par Man that have the most to say about competence. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
Not the little B💕@BlehisBack

Wait… all these tears because of Peter Obi? 😂 Now let me give you something real to cry about. I don’t believe Peter Obi (ADC) can govern this country and deliver the kind of transformation we actually want. Beyond the alliances with the same recycled wicked political class, I still have his post notifications on from my 2023 fangirl phase and I’ve taken time to read his positions on core economic issues. It’s disappointing 💔💔. Look at his comments on Sani Abacha, the tax bill, and several key policy matters, some of which were quietly deleted. You read them and just think, “nah… this is underwhelming.” 💔 Then there’s the part where we all pretend not to notice his wingmen; Dino Melaye, Nasir El-Rufai, even Atiku Abubakar all orbiting the same movement. Or are we to believe they’ve suddenly become saints cause they now associate with him? At some point, we have to admit we are just repackaging the same old corrupt system that brought us into this mess we are, with a cleaner brand name. And please, we’re past the optics of eating with school children, carrying bags at the airport… that humility theatre. It’s governance we need, not aesthetics. Yes, Bola Tinubu must go. No debate there.❌ Quite frankly, he should never even have happened in the first place‼️ But I wish we didn’t have to repeat the anybody but Jonathan(PDP) situation that made us fall into Buhari’s (APC) laps. I wish we had a real opposition; one rooted in competence, conviction, and the courage to stand against entrenched corruption, not coexist with it. Maybe the 2023 version of Peter Obi felt like that person. But 2027? I’m not convinced. Having doubts about the opposition doesn’t equate being an APC supporter‼️ But if you insist that this stance puts corn in my pocket, then I’ll gladly eat it with beans 🌽😌 Now cry moreeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

What PDP could not achieve in 16 years, BAT needed less than 4 years to break that record. The true master strategist. 😅

@ManLikeAkoh @lone_Ranger95 In 2019, an MSc at UNILAG was under ₦200k. Today, it's nearly ₦500k; inflation & cost of living have equally skyrocketed. APC wants you to celebrate a loan after introducing policies that made education less affordable. You create the problem, then offer debt as the solution.

I’ve lived in both the North and West. I'm just a Nigerian who desires good governance. What stood out about Obi was character — something rare in Nigerian politics. I became politically active. Of all the leading candidates, PO is the only one I can trust with our resources.

Before 2023, I stayed away from politics because the leading candidates felt like the same recycled choices. Then Peter Obi and Kwankwaso emerged. I got curious and started reading with an open mind. Please note, I’m not Igbo, Hausa, or Yoruba...

Now let me educate you, APC was not a new party or a new coalition in 2023, it was not an opposition party, even with that, almost every one who lost in that Primary Election were sore loosers and they never worked for the Party which is why they kept plotting against Asiwaju by all means until he had a narrow escape. So don't compare APC with ADC bro

I’m just going to wait for the post-primary elections to see how Atikulated, Obidient, Amaechified, and Kwankwaso followers will mend fences and work together. I’ve never seen a coalition where every stalwart wants to be the candidate, with no one willing to step down for another and the followers of each aspirant have already promised to be on each other’s throats if their candidate fails to emerge. A coalition where they laugh and strategize against the incumbent government together, but go home to plot against each other at night. Let’s not lie, ADC is a time bomb waiting to explode before the election, and it will be my delight to see them in disarray. #deprofwrites #alarapewrites

Louder for the people in the back. A vote is not charity it's a contract. Any politician who acts like they're doing you a favor by showing up on the ballot has already failed the interview. Peter Obi treated Anambra votes like permission, not accountability. And we saw the result, beer parlors, not banks. We're not making that mistake again.

"You are not doing Peter Obi a favour by voting for him." - Elite Gaslight 😆 The exact reason we won't be voting for him. He doesn't know the value of our votes. The vote of every Nigerian is a favour. Full stop. We are the employers. The politician is the applicant. And any man who approaches the gate of power believing he is granting you a privilege by asking for your ballot has already disqualified himself by his own character. An employee who does not recognise the weight of the trust his employers placed in him by hiring him will never honour that trust at work. He came in with contempt, and contempt is what he will deliver. This is not theory. We have the evidence of eight years. Peter Obi governed Anambra for two full terms and left behind a state that attracted beer parlours while his contemporaries were signing agreements with bank headquarters and mega factories. Not because the resources were absent. Not because the opportunities did not knock. But because a man who does not value the votes of his people will not labour to deserve them - and a man who will not labour to deserve them will not labour to serve them. We are voting again - not out of sentiment, not out of tribe, not out of noise - but because our man has earned it. Because he has delivered on the promises he made at the gate. Because every day in office, he has behaved like a man who understands that the people hired him, and that they can fire him, and that the distance between those two things is called performance. That is what it means to value a vote. Understood? Good Afternoon Severally...

@AntighaPeter @d_Advocate1 Your opinion is valid. But the Yorubas have a saying "he that must dress up another must first have dressed himself well,". PO was the least capable of the big 4 in 2023. He govern a state for 8 yrs. A man who couldn't govern one state well can govern 36 and one FCT???

@_raesparkles Classic strategic compromise under uncertainty. You didn’t reject Sowore bcos he wasn’t “best fit,” bt bcos u thought he couldn’t win. And if a personal encounter shaped ur view of him, that’s fine. Bt is that a national standard to adjudge credibility, viability, or capacity?

My brother whom Sowore saved from the hands of police brutality, we both went to the polling unit in 2023 to vote (he wanted to for Sowore while I wanted to vote for Peter Obi) but when we got there, he changed his mind because we felt casting vote for Sowore would be a waste since he didn’t have much momentum so we both voted for Obi. It’s not like we didn’t know Sowore was a best fit in 2023, most of us just decided to put all our hope on PO cos we thought we he’s capable to face these people.

I assume that's a rhetorical question. I'm not in the habit of spoonfeeding adults on the internet. Let me indulge you a bit. Ultimately, It is the responsibility of the electorates to determine who his/her best candidate is. If you need anyone to help you determine who the best candidate is, then maybe you are not politically mature enough to vote in a General Election. Except of course your support is of purely partisan. In that case, you are voting for the Party regardless of the candidate presented.

@Official_Isaaco Assuming political impact equals building protégés is deeply flawed. Leaders can build institutions, ideas, and movements, not just loyalists. We should know better by now instead of institutionalising patronage politics.
