Georgia residents — pay close attention to what’s happening right now.
The governor is saying he won’t cancel the current election to redraw the maps in light of the Supreme Court’s decision in Louisiana. But at the same time, he’s leaving the door open to a special session to redraw those same maps for 2028.
That should tell you everything.
Stay informed. Stay alert. Get organized.
And most importantly — early voting is happening right now. Make your voice heard. Go vote.

Very disappointed that Lt. Governor Evette’s invite to speak at SC State University’s commencement was withdrawn.
Pam is the Lt. Governor of our great state and the idea that her speech would have been anything less than inspiring to these graduates and their families is based in a close-minded, woke ideology.
When it comes to applying pressure, liberals seem to have no boundaries. To those who give in, believe it or not, it will create consequences over time.
The sooner we break from the wokeness that permeates our society — especially in higher education and at a great school like SC State — the better.

Obama probably deserves more blame for ruining American racial relations than any living person.

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach. The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
