The guy argued that test drive vehicles with red registration plates are supposed to be covered by the dealership's insurance, so the repair cost should not fall entirely on the customer. However, the showroom reportedly denied this claim. Now here's the big question Is it fair for a dealership to ask a customer to pay the full repair cost for a minor accident during a test drive ? If you were in his place, would you pay the ₹25,000, go ahead and buy the car, or first find out what your legal rights are ?
