I'm actually very surprised no one has brought the absolute bullshitery that is these two Ancients' attacks. The dodge window they have are utterly ridiculous, and the visuals are so delayed compared to that window too.

some of the worst examples of poor telegraphing are the lasers from both temple guardian and fear. unless you're blindly pressing ~1sec in, you *cannot* expect this nuclear bomb of an attack the first go around. a clip from a game i used to play, FURI, for comparison's sake

Now that I've taken some time to revisit the music of Chapter 5, I'm now quite impressed by certain ones. I want to highlight the battle themes, as they are my favorites that this chapter has to offer.

Music is by far the weakest part of this chapter. I don't feel like more than 5 new tracks stood out to me, which is a shame considering this demo brings in 19 NEW TRACKS. Most of them just sound kinda the same. It also means the quality and presentation are consistent though.

@SharkyLeo_YT It sucks because I was so excited for this game but it falls kinda flat in terms of almost everything except its visuals and music. I think I stopped playing not even two days after it launched.

gonna be honest the balance of the game, the lack of things being FNAF-y, and the maps still not being improved after all this time leaves me not excited for this update

@MrE4RidesAgain I’ve been wanting her to do something since chapter 3 but it’s clear that devs have no idea what to do with her because she was never gonna do anything in the first place. I kinda blame Campy here, but the lead devs should’ve also considered this imo. It’s their game, after all.

@MrE4RidesAgain Ok those other characters have a clear purpose and place in the plot. The devs haven’t figured out what to do with Kyoko because she doesn’t fit well into the plot.
If they’re gonna go down the “she’s a Turitopulis resident” route they should make her more important to Chapter 2

I really don't know what the EARLY EARLY draft of Blocktales was but having Kyoko be restricted of all she is was a really bad move.
At that point get rid of Noobador, Red and Blue, Cruel King and Griefer and replace them with all new characters if they were all Campys plans.

Kyoko hurts me as a Noobador fan because shes just locked in a section of the game nowhere else to be found and her whole personality about exploring got gutted. While Noobador feels like he got the best of the best treatment from this rewrite It isn't fair for her

It’s a pretty empty set piece compared to what we get with the clan areas too, honestly. (I think a secret Darkheart Mountain area inclusion would’ve been nice tho)
