in light of all the gurus on this app and their rigid guidelines for how you HAVE to live to be successful, here’s a reminder: i forfeited TEN YEARS of my life to drug addiction and didn’t “start” adult life until i was almost 30. while i don’t wish that upon anyone, i understand that life happens and i empathize with anybody currently going through hell, either by your own hands or the hands of someone else. don’t ever let ANYONE tell you it’s too late or shame you for the tests that taught you your most valuable lessons. without trauma, there are no lessons. check the qualifications of the people you are listening to. what qualifies this person to be giving you advice? 99% of these life gurus have never seen a courtroom, an ICU bed, a group home, or a prison cell. 99% of these fitness gurus have never overcome obesity or adverse health conditions. 99% of these romance gurus couldn’t game their way out of a wet paper bag in real life. 99% of these networking gurus have never finessed their way up a ladder on the streets, at corporate, or on a private jet. i would never advise anyone on long-term relationships, religion, or fashion as those are things i still haven’t grasped. but as far as life is concerned, adversity, hardship, and overcoming, i can offer all the advice in one graph: no matter what terrible choices you’ve made, no matter what lessons you had to learn to get you here, no matter what you’re up against: all that shit had to happen and will be why you overcome it. and if anybody ever tells you you’re living wrong, the answer is and forever will be suck my fucking dick.

That was me from 11am to 9pm yesterday By 9pm my girlfriend talked me down from the ledge with a delicious Taco Tuesday dinner This was only the start of the good news Go to check the guy's stolen post again- it got community noted. Finally getting the credit I deserve. 4am I wake up. Just had an odd feeling. Check my phone. Major life goal finally complete.
