The concept that getting too much is a bad thing falls flat with me and seems like a non issue. One, you got more for the money. Two, while annoying in some places, its mostly optional. You know, like most RPGs since the dawn of the genere.

Modern Final Fantasy doesn't respect your time, I'm almost 30 hours into Rebirth and I feel like I did only 2 hours of the main story. Meanwhile the other 28 hours is: Filler cutscenes, generic Sony-world map sidequests,mini games etc.

I love Rebirth but it’s definitely one of those I have trouble replaying because of it’s genuinely too much.
If part 3 can find a good balance between the linearity of Remake and Rebirths open world without so much bloat, that would be the best.
