Delighted to confirm I have received Government approval for Ireland to join @CERN. CERN is one of the world's largest and most respected centres for scientific research. The benefits for Ireland will be significant. Our application will be considered in December.

@HMRCcustomers Thanks. The problem is that this will unlikely to be fixed in time for my next payroll which is ridiculously unfair - but not HMRC's fault they've been given incorrect info! 😞

@Aoibh 1/2 Ok thanks. If you contact our income tax team when they reopen on Monday they will be able to check this for you. They have full access to records there...

@HMRCcustomers This is it, but my new job where this has been applied is fine. It's my previous job, which has claimed we got paid in May (we did not, but according to HMRC we have) and they terminated us on June 20th. On HMRC it says my contract with them ends April 5th next year and I don't..

@HMRCcustomers I have been told I've underpaid in tax and so my tax free allowance has been drastically reduced. I assume this is because my former employer left us unpaid for our last month's but sent payroll details to HMRC as if we had been paid, but this is not the case.

@Aoibh Hi. Can i just clarify what the issue is with the tax credits and how this has affected your tax code? James
