Not only does the Raptors trade die, but he becomes a free agent without any Bird rights. Insiders say the league could also issue a historic suspension and/or he'd be forced to sign for whatever raw cap space is left out there. We're talking mid-levels or vet mins. @SpursReporter I doubt his contract gets voided. More likely the suspension. The issue is less about if Kawhi had wrong doing, but the NBPA doesn't want a precedent of voiding contracts for players. Even though the NBPA knows its wrong. It didn't take any money away from other players.
