@RinnLiadon I can remember them feeling like glowing red eyes in the middle of the night when I was young. I get it.

@ApeF1st Time for me to admit an irrational fear. The red numbers on these SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME when I was a kid.

@xJamesDC I went live again for the first time in 3+ years last night and seeing my chat fill in with so many OGs definitely helped relight the flame.

@Gothalion @WIFEthalion A very firm but fair “do better next time” All in all it works out pretty well because they’re all competitive natured. Can absolutely see the mileage varying for some.

So @WIFEthalion and I have decided to do an “employee of the month” style photo in the house of the child who caused us the the least trouble on vacation and deem them “Child of the Trip” and put the photo on display until the next vacation.

@Julia_CaSsian What is the loot system like? Is there gearing? Tried to read through their Steam Store page and it speaks to customization in more of a cosmetic sense.

Early thoughts (first beta, its in dev so keep that in mind): pixel art is gorgeous; it feels A LOT better on controller than kb, 0.5s movement delay that is offputting. Classes bound to heroes (unlockable customization) which im not a fan of, but bard is a cat so it balances out

I'm trying the Drakantos closed beta, it's a MMORPG with beautiful pixel art that i've been following for a long time. It has full controller support too, ill play more and see how it is

@CodyM1_ I’m not sure if the supply was closer to the demand this time around. Obviously Nintendo has a long history with scarcity at launch - could be less of that this time around. 🤷

Easiest Nintendo product launch. Picked a Switch 2 up this morning with no issue, no waiting and still plenty in case.

@Cathanasselis I really like Ant but they aren’t here if GS had Curry healthy - imo Still bright future ahead for them.

@Spooky_Spencer Spence I still think it has more to do with people wanting validation and thinking that building their credibility is done by obtaining partnerships.

@ApeF1st totally understand the higher requirements for their creator program. these shirts could be twitch drops at this point and i feel like you would barely see them after a couple of weeks except for those trying to grow their community instead of putting "TV" in their name.

I think it’s very strange to say this is “mean spirited.” Companies need to make strategic decisions that benefit their brand and community. These are business choices, not personal slights. You wouldn’t call a job application 'mean-spirited' because they have requirements…

@Cynical_Pirate Maybe they should sell a Twitch shirt and donate proceeds to charity so people can get the shirt they want and BHVR can do something good.

Except in the digital world, more affiliates with codes means more people buying the digital cosmetics / currency to support their streamer big or small. The majority of these posts fail to see that so many just wanted the Twitch Shirts to be part of the community… not join the whole program. And if they added creator codes when buying cosmetics, my first point would be fulfilled. People are usually more willing to support the content creator over just supporting the corporation
