#ApeStaking Announcement My staking agency, ApeStaking, is being wound down as part of a broader consolidation. Running independent validator infrastructure no longer makes sense relative to the capital, attention, and operating costs involved. This move reduces fixed overhead, frees liquidity and bandwidth, and allows deeper focus on ecosystem initiatives we’re already accountable for — including EGLDHeist, which we’ve run for nearly two years without monetization. The goal is not retreat, but concentration: fewer moving parts, clearer obligations, and better follow-through. All delegators retain full control of their funds, and the shutdown will be handled transparently and cleanly. On a personal note: it has been quite a journey, many lessons learned, and i have full trust in the world's best tech: #multiversX. Many thanks to those who staked their EGLD through ApeStaking to show support for @EGLDHeist. I will flip the switch either later today or after tomorrow's epoch change. We are currently in the Wait state so it won't impact anyone either way.

The "Mile of Gold" in Kirkland Lake Canada, encompassing seven contiguous mines, produced over 700 metric tonnes of gold, valued at approximately one-third of a trillion dollars at today's prices. Asset value is a small area of an overall larger one called the ring of fire. Which has a lot of other resources then just gold. If Decentralization can work/ worked properly the people in this area/ areas would all be billionaires (seeing as demographically is smaller population density wise for the asset value of the area) If you could get any mine or Bar producer to back EGLD to 1 Tonne, your asset value could remain capped and overall the price would remain the same as when they deposited it. Basically setting a new gold standard at today's prices, preventing it from being shorted as well. This could be done with other assets like silver ect which I understand is what you're kinda trying to do with the stables but overall the supply of EGLD should remain capped and get backed by physical. The only reason to open it up is if you get someone willing to back it with more gold then you have supply and that could be cool. But like proof of security for them is a thing. Which we don't brag about enough..@EgldHeist You could get it through miners cheaper than the open market. And it prevents shorting of dual asset classes. Though ETFs/ SpVs

A few thoughts I woke up with that might help you navigate these days: When everything hurts, conviction decides the outcome. It’s proven when it hurts, when doubt surrounds you, when progress feels slow, and when standing firm requires more than belief - it requires endurance. It is interesting that Altcoin Daily reactively tries to help crypto users AFTER thefts and other malicious acts, yet refuses to cover @EGLDHeist, who have purposely given EVERY hacker in the world our seedphrase and have never had a cent stolen in approx 18 months, demostrating how secure base #multiversX wallets are... nope, not one reach-out. Given everything (tech-wise) that #multiversX has, and given Supernova is close to release, and given we have the #guardian, ESDT format, and supposedly "the best tech on the planet":: explain the folly of shifting over to yet another token, given UTK is upgradeable. I think many long-time supporters are reconsidering numerous once solid unchangeable positions.
