50 doesn’t need to mention him, he interpolated 2 bars, BDP is in the song’s credits, and his entire career he’s said KRS was his favorite - making this an obvious example of homage and not just interpolation. Cam’ron interpolated a KRS bar and paid homage by crediting and mentioning him in the bar leading into it. If he hadn’t mentioned him, it could’ve been seen as just “interpolating” and not homage. Yes these are two completely different scenarios, that’s exactly my point.
