Hyderabad streets & roads need to look a lot more like "five-star." Those staying in those hotels & high rises will eventually end up travelling/driving on the roads littered with filth, garbage, urine, potholes, broken sidewalks, sand.

Zero rules for roadside stalls. No checks. No measures. No permits.
They litter the streets. Just throw the left over items. Clean utensils & spill the water on roads.

GHMC Conducts Food Safety Inspections in Secunderabad Zone !!! Notices Issued to Two Establishments; Strict Action Warned Against Violations Acting on official directions, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (#GHMC) carried out intensive inspections of hotels and food establishments in the Secunderabad Zone to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. The inspection drive was led by Secunderabad Zonal Commissioner Smt. Mangatayaru. The team comprised Gazetted Food Inspector Laxmi Kanth, Food Safety Officers Swathi and Sahiti, along with the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Municipal Commissioner and Deputy SWM officials of Kavadiguda Circle. Key Violations Observed ➤ During the inspection, officials identified the following lapses: ➤ Poor hygiene and sanitation conditions ➤ Improper maintenance of mandatory records ➤ Storage of expired food items ➤ Use of unauthorised food colours Notices have been issued to the managements concerned. Further action will be initiated as per the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act. GHMC reiterated that all hotels and food establishments across Greater Hyderabad must strictly adhere to prescribed food safety and hygiene standards. Enforcement is fine.
What about public? We have this 'me first' attitude and do not care for anyone. This comes from lack of education which comes from easy availability if DLs.
The whole system needs a revamp. We can't just be blaming the authorities.

There is this pedestrian signal near dmart shaikpet. It turns green for 15 seconds every two minutes so pedestrians can cross the road safely. I haven't seen a single vehicle giving flying f**k about it. Why put it there when you are not enforcing it @hydcitypolice ?

Break/Engine failure in a Ferrari?? This is one of the standard reasons when a luxury car is involved in an accident. If it were a fatal accident, the one on the wheels will mysteriously be the driver & not the owner.

#Hyderabad: A Ferrari travelling from Jubilee Hills to Kondapur, crashed against an electric poll, jumped the divider and hit against 3 cars coming in the opposite direction at 10. 30 AM Sunday on Jubilee Hills. Car no: TS 07 HK 8797, registered owner-E Venkata Raja Reddy. Kranthi Reddy, the man behind the wheels was on his way to a wedding . He tested negative for alcohol. The reason behind the crash is said to brake and engine malfunction. Inspection by a motor vehicle inspector is awaited. No casualties reported. A few sustained injures.

No. If there is any cue from cities like Singapore, it should be on how to build a reliable public transport system which eliminates dependency on private transport.
