@K3nB3n We should definitely know more about what is basically our only morally justified war, but that’s still the best simplified description of it. Even some people pretty high up in the Japanese military were surprised by it, because it was an extremely unstrategic overreaction.

I was taught that pearl harbor was an unprompted attack by the Japanese

@TheRauyne I love what Pragmata did from a gameplay perspective but it sadly didn’t have anything special going for it.

@kalaelizabeth I finished it last week, the music was hauntingly beautiful. Really good story, it’s short enough so the basic gameplay didn’t bother me. Great voices acting and visual vistas on PC

Been playing Aphelion and so far it's really beautiful and the music is amazing. Story is intriguing, but hasn't hooked me just yet. Anyone else playing?

Dario demonstrating that he doesn't understand software engineering. The human side of what we do has always been the heart. I can empathize with *wanting* to never talk to an engineer ever again, but engineering becomes more important with better tools.

Mr. Titus Tech is correct. cpuid-dot-com is indeed delivering malware right now. As I began poking this with I stick I discovered this is not your typical run-of-the-mill malware. This malware is deeply trojanized, distributes from a compromised domain (cpuid-dot-com), performs file masquerading, is multi-staged, operates (almost) entirely in-memory, and uses some interesting methods to evade EDRs and/or AVs such as proxying NTDLL functionality from a .NET assembly. The C2 domain present in one of the binaries is a clear IoC. This is the same Threat Group who was masquerading FileZilla in early March, 2026. They've been busy.

This game is unbelievably good. It’s hand-painted art, real medieval music played on reproduced instruments with gameplay that is a hybrid of deep turn-based combat and point-and-click adventure. It uses Arthurian legends that list the source material and alters them to have a variety of outcomes that depend on meaningful in-game decisions. Absolute banger.

Ref the first image - it was taken with a Hasselblad 70mm camera & 80mm lens, from 18,000 n. miles. Know as the Blue Marble, it's the most viewed and reproduced photograph in history. It was remastered (for the first time ever) from the original flight film, for my book in 2022.
