I graduated yesterday. So I’m reentering the social media world. On Wednesday we celebrated my husband’s 56th birthday.

Yesterday my position as Senior Editor at Harper was eliminated. I’m heartbroken and unsure what’s next. But I’m fiercely proud of the work I was able to do, and am inspired by my colleagues, authors & illustrators who see magic in our world and work tirelessly to make it real.📚

I just spent two days sharing about A Work in Progress with 4th-8th graders. The response was amazing from everyone. But my favorite thing was all the boys who, having watched me open up and be vulnerable with them, come up after my sessions and open up to me. A beautiful thing.
