Great writeup on impact of AI on drug discovery.
While it’s not directly solving the drug discovery problem, it’s made it efficient to do so.
The bottleneck would still be trials and FDA approval. However the data is irrefutable - it’s a step change in the entire process.

@swaroop_g1 I meant like if your base currency is GBP, or worse, INR, you potentially lose the asset gains to currency devaluation. But I guess you’re talking about USD devaluation itself.

India cut down US treasuries by $50B (20%). It swapped it for gold.
This means 2 things:
- UST's 4.5% yield doesn't completely cover the risk in USD with indiscriminate money printing
- Others buying UST is what allows US to print unlimited $

If these companies are so competitive about benchmarks, it seems highly likely that they’re optimising for the benchmark test scores.
Which means if the tests are flawed, the models are not really iterating towards problem solving for human needs.

@go_lightyear has a 0.35% fx fee which is a ripoff. For a 10k trade, it’s £70 charge round trip.
Apart from IBKR, there’s literally no one with a competitive FX fee (which is all that matters for ISA since you’re mandated to hold cash in £)
