@JagexStu @JagexHooli Ashdale specifically is named after a location in the mainland, where the settlers of Ashdale originally came from. No idea why Davendale is named like that though. Maybe Mayor Dave renamed the place after him?

@Wahisietel Otherworldly beings could potentially be added to Chaeldar's slayer assignments. Not sure who would be a suitable Slayer Master for monkeys, though.

Looks like monkeys and overwordly beings are no longer assigned by anyone... that should probably be fixed.

...the assignment pools for Turael/Spria and Jacquelyn are tiny now. They should at least add some Lumbridge Swamp Caves/Taverley Dungeon monsters to them, locked by cb level.

@JagexAsh I see. Can you tell which of the devs it was? I could always contact them myself to inquire about the question, after all.

@Aquamancer I think that dev's now left, and we're no longer in touch. I don't know of such an internal document, anyway.

@JagexAsh Do you know who wrote the letter in Ancient Gnomish in Monkey Madness II? I was just wondering if they invented the new words by themselves, or if they used some sort of internal document about the Gnome language that's more extensive than what is available in-game.

@Vengance183 @moltare Yeah, at this point the player-base seems to have lost interest in figuring out what it does. If it does something, it appears to be something so inconsequential that it's not worth the effort to figure out what it does and if it'd be useful anywhere.

@moltare At this point I'm convinced the perk's function will just remain undiscovered.

@PoddlePea As you were the lead developer of The Branches of Darkmeyer, do you know what the intent of the decaying tome's lore was? As it stands, the book throws a curveball to Morytania's timeline that's difficult to resolve, since we only have an incomplete version of it.

@Legend_Arts In RS3 Chimeras are native to Wushanko Isles, though. So perhaps a Chimera boss could be featured in an Eastern Lands expansion?

since osrs is full of greek mythology monsters they should add the Chimera to frankencastle as a mid level boss with a hardmode version for high level players...

@JagexAsh When you developed Love Story, did you have any ideas for what the Thingummywut's true identity or appearance might be like, or was it always meant to remain a secret for the players?

@Wahisietel That looks like one of those old details that most people have completely glossed over. I'd imagine that it's meant to be foreshadowing for something, but for what, I'm not sure.

For some reason, it has two examine options in OSRS, with the first one resulting in "Nothing interesting happens." Lorewise, who does this house belong to? Bunkdo can be found there in OSRS post-MM2. Was it once Oaknock's house? Who knows.

Here's a little mystery: What is the point of this "Ornament" in one of the houses south-west of The Grand Tree? It seems to be a red triangle from the Glouphrie quests (and was added to the game with EoG), but seems to have no function.

@cyan_cyborg Oh, and I thought those were just some really colourful plastic bolas, instead of hair ties. Now that I look at them more carefully, it does seem a bit silly that I managed to miss that.

@Aquamancer The first pic aren't bolas, they're hair ties that were popular in the late 90s/early 2000s. It's a joke about how many times I hurt my hands with these.

These things were basically weapons.

@Fannygirdle @Sakirth @helring @JagexJack @JagexOsborne After the release of the Diversity update, somebody sent a document covering issues with Karamja. I recall that you people were either tagged or involved in the conversation about it, so do you know what happened to it?

@AnAviansie In my opinion, it's weird that only four of the Barrows Brothers are part of the same character. In my opinion, either all Barrows Brothers should be represented by one character, or there should be characters for all of them. Or a better RuneScape Smash representative is needed.

This one's a bit of an odd one. I've had to basically condense the four melee Barrows Brothers into one character, so please understand that this character's abilities aren't necessarily what the individual Barrows Brothers can do. #RuneScapeForSmash

@zorialdiamond Every cat? Including those that have already died, those that are yet to be born, and those who would only exist in alternate timelines?

@JagexRyan Yeah, that would be a pretty good addition for all bosses. Would this apply to quest bosses, as well?

Thoughts on all bosses having the boss health bar? Related side thought; the loading animation at the beginning is quite slow and could be sped up or even removed.

@Legend_Arts It's worth noting that in RuneScape's lore for summoning, familiars can sometimes materialize from the obelisks and cause havoc, meaning that it is perfectly possible that the familiars in OSRS could be used as unique combat encounters.

I know that summoning will never be a thing in osrs but what if they use the creatures as new monsters for the areas of gielinor, like Moss titan for Morytania and so on... I know... me and my weird ideas.
