**RE: Acceptance of Arab Head of GCV Ambassador Ali Mayass’ Resignation** Dear GCV Community, We would like to inform you that, effective May 7, 2025, Mr. Ali Mayass, the Head of Arab GCV Ambassador, has officially concluded his cooperation with the GCV Core Team. Mr. Ali Mayass has been working with us for more than two years, and I truly appreciate his hard work and contributions to the Arab and Global GCV movement. I am extremely grateful for his extraordinary efforts in advancing today’s Arab GCV education and ecosystem development. He submitted his resignation a few days ago, and I am sorry to see him leave. TOPIC #93: WHICH CRYPTOCURRENCY CAN BE STABLE COIN? The current global situation is extremely critical. Most countries have been affected by U.S. President Mr. Trump’s increased tariffs, and there is a high possibility of transitioning from a tariffs war to a currency war. If this issue remains unresolved, we could even face the risk of military conflict. June marks the maturity of the $6.5 trillion National Debt of the United States. The U.S. is exploring ways to manage this substantial national debt through cryptocurrencies. Introduced on February 4, 2025, the GENIUS ACT aims to provide much-needed regulatory clarity for stablecoin issuers and investors. Stablecoins—cryptocurrency tokens pegged to the value of traditional fiat currencies like the U.S. dollar—are already widely used in both the cryptocurrency economy and traditional financial markets. However, despite their increasing adoption, stablecoins exist within a vague regulatory environment, causing uncertainty for businesses and consumers alike. Recently, Dr. Zheng Liang Guo, a political scientist with a Ph.D. from Yale University and originally from Taiwan China, pointed out that Bitcoin's market capitalization is only $1 trillion and that it is unstable. In comparison, the combined market cap of USDC and USDT is merely $230 billion. None of these cryptocurrencies can adequately meet the needs posed by the U.S. National Debt. If Pi does not evolve into a stablecoin by June, it is unlikely that any existing cryptocurrency will be able to act as a stablecoin to address the U.S. National Debt default in June this year. This could lead to a catastrophic crisis in the capital markets. Dr. Guo stated that the Federal Reserve has not recognized Bitcoin, USDT, or USDC as viable stablecoin solutions for the U.S. national debt crisis because Bitcoin is not stable and USDT or USDC has no enough capitalization. It seems that the U.S. government is attempting to manage its national debt through cryptocurrencies, but currently, no existing cryptocurrency is capable of effectively addressing this crisis. In my opinion, only Pi has the potential to take on this task. The current global situation has placed significant responsibilities on us. In order to cover US National debt using the GCV price, it would need over 200 million Pi. At present, the total available Pi is approximately $1.8 billion. Additionally, a significant amount of Pi will soon be automatically locked away for three years as it matures, since most of us have chosen to lock our Pi for either 100% or 90% for that duration. If pioneers do not lock their Pi, the mining rate will be considerably slow. When they decide to lock their Pi, they will only have the option to do so at the same rate and terms as before. The total available supply of Pi is expected to reach around 2 billion by June 2025. Of this amount, 10% could be allocated to address the US national debt. This leaves us with 1.8 billion Pi available for global circulation. Currently, our main objective is to demonstrate that Pi can maintain stability in the exchange market, as evidenced by the GCV. Furthermore, CT will implement a stricter migration policy. Currently, only the Pi community has the potential to stabilize the Pi coin price in the exchange market. The Pi GCV is supported by the community, which has generated more than 6 million GCV data points over nearly three years. Now, we must unite to help the exchange market demonstrate that the coin can be stable at GCV. Of course, to be recognized as a stablecoin, there are additional requirements and conditions. I believe it is the responsibility of CT to address these aspects and I believe CT have the ability to do it, while we, as pioneers, must focus on the GCV value and price. Both pioneers and CT are necessary for achieving stablecoin status. Historically, military conflicts have often emerged from unresolved economic, trade, and currency challenges. The United States currently finds itself in a difficult situation. This problem is not exclusive to America; many other countries are also facing struggles, marked by rising prices and high unemployment rates. All of this underscores the urgent need for a stablecoin to help address issues, particularly those related to the U.S. national debt. We should aspire to noble ideals and goals, not just for ourselves but also in order to navigate the global economic and financial crisis together. We must endure challenges and think beyond our individual interests. To achieve greatness, we need to maintain a broad perspective and cultivate wisdom. Once we define our goals, it’s crucial to understand how to accomplish them. We must be inclusive, communicate respectfully, and uplift one another. By encouraging and supporting each other, we can channel our energy productively rather than engaging in internal conflicts. I hope everyone in Pi Network community can concentrate on this historic moment. Currently, there is no other cryptocurrency that qualifies as a stablecoin to address the U.S. National debt maturity issues in June 2025 and beyond, and time is of the essence. However, Pi is ready; we just need the community to unite. Throughout this process, pioneers have specific roles, and CT has responsibilities regarding the application for stablecoin status. I believe Dr. Nicolas will address this issue at the 2025 Consensus event, where the main topic of discussion will be stablecoins and regulation. Both the pioneers and CT need to collaborate to ensure the success of GCV's stable Pi coin. Let's set our goal of achieving a successful OM by June 28th, 2025. This goal is intended to motivate all community pioneers to work hard and unite for a stable coin in the exchange market and GCV adoption in ecosystem. Establish GCV in the Market Through Active Participation To solidify GCV, we must create real market demand, and that starts with you.
