一日，老和尚为了启发他的徒弟，便给了他一块非常美丽的石头叫他去蔬菜市场叫卖。小和尚心里虽然感觉很奇怪，但仍欣然接受了。临行前，老和尚笑呵呵地对他的徒弟说：“注意，你不要卖掉这块石头，只要在菜市场上叫卖一下，看需要多长时间才会有人前来询问价格，然后你只要告诉我这块石头在蔬菜市场上能卖多少钱便可以了。” 徒弟虽然疑惑不解，但还是抱着那块石头去了菜市场。菜市场上，很多人都用奇怪的眼光看着那个小和尚，他们心想：这和尚为什么在这出售如此平凡的石头呢？其中有几个善良的老人还热心上前来询问价格，打算购买那块石头。但让小和尚失望的是，那些人最多的只愿意付几个铜板来购买那块石头。最后，小和尚不得不失望地抱着那块石头回到了寺庙里，把情况原原本本说给了老和尚听。 老和尚说：“那么，明天你抱着这块石头再去黄金市场，问问那儿的人。同样，只是问问价格，但不要卖掉它。”于是第2天小和尚抱着石头在黄金市场上转了一圈，很快就有很多人前来询问价格，甚至有人愿意出到1000两银子来购买那块石头。小和尚高兴地回报师父这令人兴奋的消息，并询问是不是应该以这样的价格出售那块石头。 老和尚还是轻轻地摇了摇头，乐呵呵地对小和尚说：“明天，你带这块石头再去珠宝商那儿，问问那儿的人这块石头的价值．但仍然不要卖掉它。” 小和尚感到彻底地迷茫了，但他还是抱着那块“神奇的石头”去了珠宝商那儿。他简直不相信，那儿的人竟然争先恐后地观赏那块“奇石”，报价声此起彼伏，有的竟然愿意出5万两银子。但小和尚还是遵从师父的命令。人们见他在如此高的价格面前仍，不愿意卖，更是愈发疯狂了。他们继续抬高价格：10万两银子、20万两银子、30万两银子，或者你要多少就多少，只要你卖！ 小和尚费了很大的劲才挣脱开纠缠的人群，他带着石头回到寺庙里。师父望着满头大汗的小和尚说：“明天你再把它带到拍卖行问问那儿的人这块石头的价值．但仍然不要卖掉它。”小和尚听后彻夜难眠，只恨天亮的太慢，好不容易到了天亮，他急忙捧着石头跑到拍卖行，结果全国最出名的拍卖师告诉他这是千年不遇的宝石，太难得了，这个石头也被当天做为压轴的宝物最后亮相，结果有一国国王愿意出三个城池来和小和尚交换，小和尚当场晕倒，后来连人带石头被八台大轿送回了山上，小和尚醒来后哭着对师傅说：师傅，这回咱们发大发了! 老和尚指着石头打断他说：“其实，我们并不打算卖它，不过现在你应该明白，为什么石头的形状和外表都没有变而你的想法和做法却再三变化呢，我之所以让你这样做，主要是想培养和锻炼你充分认识自我价值的能力和对事物的理解能力。如果你是生活在蔬菜市场，那么你只有那个市场的理解力，你就永远不会认识更高的价值。” 在菜市场，在黄金市场，在珠宝市场，在拍卖行，同样一个人，有人将你抬得很高，有人把你贬得很低，有价值的东西，只有在懂价值的人面前，才有价值。不要管别人怎么看，关键是自己怎么看自己。在很大程度，你可以掌握自己的命运，决定自己的价值！ 其实这和我们的人生是一个道理，也许你就是一个宝石，可是你却选择错了地方，而被环境影响的你认为自己只配去给人做个垫脚石，要记住一句话，人是环境的产物，只要你想，没有什么做不到的。

I am grateful for his contributions to GCV and for the strong support he provided to you.🙏🙏🙏 I only became aware of his passing after seeing your post on X and reviewing the video conference, along with Mr. Ismail’s final post from just four days ago. He was truly a GCV warrior, standing shoulder to shoulder with you in unwavering commitment. I can only imagine how deeply this loss has affected you. I know your heart must feel broken, and it may be hard to speak or even move since receiving this sad news. Please remember that Mr. Hasan, I, and all of us care about you deeply and are keeping you in our thoughts. I was relieved to see your post again. I left you a DM on Telegram. Mr. Ismail is watching over you and the entire community he served so passionately. I believe he would want you to take care of yourself and find strength through this sorrow, so he may find peace in heaven, knowing you are well. Losing someone so close is incredibly hard. While no words can fill the void left behind, I want you to know that I am here for you, day or night. Please promise me that during this painful time, you will allow yourself to grieve, give yourself grace, and be gentle with yourself. I also want to share my own recent and past losses with you. Just six days ago, a close friend of mine passed away from cancer at the age of 48. Two years ago, another dear friend died from the same disease at just 46. Sixteen years ago, I lost my beloved late mother suddenly, without the chance to say goodbye. I truly understand the depth of sorrow and the emptiness that follows such profound loss. During the past six years on the Pi Network journey, we have seen many Pioneers pass away from our global family of over 60 million. As Buddha taught, “Life is found in each breath.” He reminds us to cherish the moments we have, especially while we are still healthy and surrounded by loved ones and our Pioneer community. I've noticed how tirelessly many GCV Ambassadors work, often late into the night. While this dedication is admirable, it’s important to remember that long-term well-being requires rest. I urge our Ambassadors to prioritize their health by ideally sleeping by 11 PM and waking early for a fresh start. Our movement is a long journey, and your health is one of our greatest assets. The success of the Pi Network won’t come overnight. We must balance ambition with health. The ancient principle of the Doctrine of the Mean teaches us to walk a balanced path between contribution and self-care. In facing death and life’s impermanence, I hold onto these guiding principles from my personal beliefs: 1. **Understanding the Truth of Life** - **Impermanence:** All things, including our bodies and lives, are transient. I accept this and strive for understanding beyond it to reach eternal life. - **Suffering:** Life includes birth, aging, sickness, and death. I accept this, seeking to lessen suffering while embracing blessings and joy. - **No-Self:** The "self" we cling to is an illusion—there is no permanent self. The body is temporary, like clothing, but spiritual growth is everlasting. - **Practice:** Meditation, precepts, and acts of charity purify the mind and foster compassion. 2. **Cultivating Compassion** - **Compassion:** Caring for and aiding all sentient beings. - **Empathy:** Feeling another’s suffering as our own. - **Altruism:** Putting others' well-being ahead of personal interests. 3. **The Path to Liberation** - **Nirvana:** Liberation from the cycle of reincarnation and suffering. - **Self-Salvation:** Practicing self-discipline and inner work towards freedom. - **Non-Attachment:** Letting go of clinging to our bodies, emotions, and worldly possessions. Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, all global pioneers! Our GCV army is opening new battlefields on Reddit, Facebook, and soon, Discord. GCV has achieved success on X. However, some individuals are spreading misinformation to manipulate pioneers who are unfamiliar with us and instill negative perceptions about GCV. They have distorted the truth. While PCT focuses on the massive adoption of Dapps, pioneers also need to work towards the widespread adoption of GCV. This is similar to a human being; we need not only a physical body but also a soul. GCV is the soul of the Pi Network. Since our mission is to become a utility token and a future currency, we should not shy away from discussing value. Ignoring the value of Pi could hinder the functionality of all decentralized applications (DApps). Consider this analogy: if you hold a currency bill from your country without trust in the government backing it, every citizen will have a different opinion about its worth. I just checked Twitter and was delighted that many big influencers are promoting GCV now. This is really good news! I have also received some questions and have been in some country community groups where I have noticed some misconceptions that need to be clarified. 1. I would like to clarify that I do not have a Doctorate degree, but I have two Bachelor's degrees. Also, I am not currently employed in any bank, but I used to work for the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China in the past. I worked as an internal auditor and International Trade Department manager before. 2. Pi Network differs significantly from traditional cryptocurrency. Therefore, it is essential to forget the traditional cryptocurrency mindset. 3. Some of the pioneers believed that the price of Pi is determined by its supply and demand. 4. On the other hand, some pioneers believed that financial institutions and big companies need to invest money in Pi for the GCV price to materialize. That is why they are expecting investments from outside. My analysis is as following. Please remember this is for your reference only. I am not representing Pi Network. Pi Network is a unique cryptocurrency that takes a different path compared to the above traditional cryptocurrencies. The price of Pi, a cryptocurrency, is not determined by exchange market supply and demand since it does not intentionally participate in the exchange market. Consequently, Pi cannot achieve its objective of becoming a currency as its price fluctuates when subjected to supply and demand forces. As a result, traditional cryptocurrencies have failed to serve their purpose and have remained in the hands of a minority. Furthermore, the application of blockchain technology in our daily lives remains limited, whereas a significant number of investors lose money in the exchange market. Pi Network has been delayed for almost two years and cannot go to open mainnet. It's also unfortunate that CT cannot mass KYC and migration primarily due to this. It is because the price hasn't reached a consensus or is too low for OM, and the ecosystem is not developing well. It's essential to remember that when the price is not united, the ecosystem won't develop well. It's understandable that they may be short of cash due to this situation. The survival of these ecosystems and merchants is highly dependent on the ability to exchange to FIAT through OM. Cash flow is definitely a major concern for these stakeholders. If our pioneers can come to a consensus on the price that is high enough to resist exchange market speculation, so that the OM can happen and the protection mechanism can be put in place. Achieving a united price expeditiously is a crucial factor that can positively impact the ecosystem, merchants, and service providers in the long run. By reaching GCV, these stakeholders can develop confidence in making long-term investments. Notably, the proximity of the OM will play a crucial role in their cash flow planning, as the exchange of FIAT for cash flow will be realized at OM. Therefore, it is imperative to expedite the process of reaching a united price GCV, as it will help build trust and confidence in the ecosystem. So we can see it's pioneers delayed OM! Why? Because pioneers don't read white paper and a lot of pioneers have been misled in the "buying Pi "groups. So I said the solution is education widely! When pioneers reach GCV in our mind, heart and we create GCV data, OM will come very soon! and mass KYC and migration can happen. Many pioneers have been taking the wrong approach to Pi by looking for financial institutions to fund it, using the traditional cryptocurrency mindset. However, Pi Network has not received any public support from financial institutions, government or big companies(except the initial investors). This is because Pi Network, like a baby, has not yet fully developed. It is difficult for them to support something that is still in its early stages. TOPIC #102: SEE BEYOND THE PRICE: WHY Pi's TRUE VALUE NOT DEBUT YET Dear Global Pioneers, Happy Friday! Today is U.S. Independence Day! 🇺🇸 So I’ve had some time to reflect—and I want to share something important with our Pi Network community-Because I find too many pioneers disappointed with the Pi price. 🎥 Mixed Reactions in the Community Recently, I’ve been watching many videos from fellow pioneers. Some feel stressed and disappointed about Pi’s current price drop. But I also saw some great YouTubers providing long-term education and positivity. 🙏 Thank you to all the content creators who are helping others stay grounded. --- 💬 “Good News, But No Price Increase?” While our GCV community were excited by the Core Team’s Pi2Day announcements, yet a lot pioneers confused when prices didn’t rise. Why? From my perspective, I believe this is due to cognitive biases among many pioneers. This probably related to Pi Network referral mechnism while a lot pioneers want to keep their referees to keep on mining and give them unrealistice hope. In the beginning, there is misunderstood what the Pi Network is about and they didn’t take the time to study it, resulting in unrealistic expectations. This issue arises from the misleading information many pioneers have received, coupled with a lack of in-depth research on what the Pi Network really entails. This misunderstanding often leads to disappointment. Because they never pay attention to Pi Nework is build up a real economy. Pi on exchange market is not for speculationt o earn profit. Pi on exchange market is open the door to the world for mass adoption. Almost all cryptocurrencies mean that holders can sell and get cash. Therefore, most holders of cryptocurrency will sell within 24 hours after OM. This behavior is why we don't currently have a cryptocurrency that can serve as a true currency for the economy. Most cryptocurrencies are viewed as investment assets, except for stablecoins. However, the Pi Network, even when on the exchange market, is not just another cryptocurrency for investment; it serves a real-world economic purpose and aims to solve financial problems. The price in the exchange market is currently used for investment or liquidity as we aim for mass adoption. However, this is not our ultimate goal. So, I urge all pioneers to wake up and realize that this is just a temporary phase. We will progress towards being a utility token and establishing the value of the Pi Network blockchain. The current low price acts as a filter to change the ownership of Pi, ensuring that only those who truly understand and value Pi remain in our ecosystem. Therefore, there is no need to be overly concerned about the current price. This low price can actually promote mass adoption worldwide. It’s not a selling phase because we haven’t completed the full OM. The real value hasn’t yet been debut. Of course, we need some pioneers to sell, allowing others with fewer Pi to increase their wealth. Everything has different perspectives, and it depends on how you choose to view it. Now, with the price being low, it’s an excellent time to buy—this can be seen as good news. When the price is high, sellers will be pleased.--- --- 🔁 Pi Is NOT Just Another Token Most cryptocurrencies are: Bought to flip Seen as investment assets, not currencies But Pi is different: ✅ It’s designed to be used, not flipped ✅ It’s building a grassroots digital economy ✅ Even on exchanges, its role is for liquidity and mass adoption—not speculation We don’t want pioneers or investors to sell merely because the price rises; that could lead to speculation. Instead, let’s focus on utility development and support pioneers who don’t have enough Pi. When the price going up so that investors can gain confidence in the Pi community and join our Pi family. We need mass adoption. Any great cause requires time. If anyone tells you that you can get rich quickly, be wary; they are likely scammers. You might earn a bit at first, but eventually, you will be trapped by those sell faster than you and run away, and you will lose money. It is called "pass the parcel'' Those who sell late will be trapped. So you must be cautious about any news. Because these news is designed for you. 💰 Don’t Fear Low Prices—Understand Them And See Through Them > The current low price is a filter not failure. It filters out speculators and brings in true believers. We haven’t even launched full Open Mainnet yet. This is not the time to see in panic—this is the time to prepare. The real value of Pi is not shown on a chart—it will be revealed through its utility and ecosystem. The current low exchange market price comes from pioneers who are behind in their cognition. and that’s natural and acceptable. Wealth will naturally reside with those who deserve it; you cannot obtain wealth out side of your cognition. Many pioneers see only the surface and often lose money in investments because they become overly emotional and vulnerable to manipulation by big investors ( whales) who can control the market. They can use those retail investors weakness and let rumours circulate such as " Pi is worthless", it’s usually because whales are looking to buy from you; they have confidence in the long-term value of Pi and they need to buy huge amount. So they want more pioneers in panic and sell in rush so they can buy at lowest price. Consider a child holding gold or jewelry who is tricked into thinking it is worthless and is instead offered candy. Most children will take the candy because they know it has immediate value, but they don’t realize that gold can buy thousands of candies. This scenario is similar to what you are experiencing within the Pi Network community, highlighting why the price is low. The more attacks at GCV and the rumors prevent you to buy and encourage you to sell means Pi has real value. So most pioneers can only see the oppostion of the truth. --- 🧘 A Zen Lesson on Perspective Let me share this story: > An old lady had two daughters. One sold umbrellas, the other shoes. On sunny days she cried for the umbrella daughter. On rainy days she cried for the shoe seller. A Zen monk told her: “Smile when it rains—for the umbrellas. Smile when it’s sunny—for the shoes.” She became known as the laughing old lady. 🌞 Rain or shine, your view changes your reality. --- ✅ What Can We Do Now? Recipes: 🛠 Keep mining and referring 🔄 Circulate Pi. Use it in real Dapps and marketplaces and all ecosystem, offline small barters. HOLD Pi NOT SELL 📢 Educate Pioneers and actively post GCV education and activities. Help fight misinformation. 🧘 Be active promote partial Pi GCV ecosystem and GCV education. Expand GCV community to 200 countries. --- 💎 Final Words We at Global GCV and CT are committed to building real value and protecting more pioneers from losing their wealth. GCV CT focus on Pi coin value while CT focus on blockchain value. As for GCV, I believe it's entirely possible if all 60 million active pioneers can improve their cognition. GCV is for ecosystem value measurement and setup standard. It should be freely convert between FIAT and Pi coin for ecosystem but not for speculation. It is essential for the ecosystem to have a GCV; otherwise, it cannot function effectively. In terms of future dependence on the exchange market for converting Pi to fiat. Our focus should be on helping CT expand the adoption of Pi coin and the Pi blockchain both within our community and beyond. GCV is the key to all DApps and the ecosystem's long-term development.
