arc mainnet is producing blocks right now. i queried it myself - chain ID 5042 responds, it's past block 10.4 million, and the USDC contract is already deployed on @Arc mainnet at 0x3600...0000. and that's exactly how people are getting robbed. because half of CT connected those dots and decided mainnet secretly launched. OTC sellers are quoting "arc mainnet USDC" at 30 to 100 times face value. bridge scripts are promising early access. random tokens are getting deployed on a chain that hasn't even opened. so here's what's actually true. what's running is Circle's pre-launch infrastructure. internal testing. the mainnet explorer that was floating around already went dark - access is restricted now. an RPC answering your wallet doesn't mean the network launched. the lights being on doesn't mean the doors are open. and the part nobody explains: CCTP moves USDC in two steps. burn on the source chain, then mint on the destination once an attestation is issued. attestations aren't being produced for mainnet transfers yet. so every "bridge" that claims to get your USDC onto arc mainnet completes the burn and stops. no mint. no refund. your USDC didn't move early - it stopped existing. and that "mainnet USDC" someone's selling at a 30-100x premium? dollars you can't verify, can't move, and can't use, on a network that hasn't started. that's not early. that's just expensive. when arc mainnet actually launches, you won't hear it from a DM or a plug. @arc and @circle will announce it publicly, for everyone at once. testnet is still the only arc that counts today.
