Yes — and it's actually worse than just one broken plane. Here's the full picture: The military plane problem is a recurring and embarrassing one for Austria. Austria has 18,000 citizens stranded in the Middle East, but both of its military transport planes (C-130 Hercules) are currently grounded — one is in long-term maintenance, and the other has a damaged fuel tank, with no clear timeline for repair. This isn't even a new issue — back in October 2023, an Austrian military plane also broke down during an evacuation from Israel, raising questions about the decrepit state of Austria's armed forces. The neutral country has long neglected investing in military equipment.

Trump using the DOJ to pressure Powell - with talk of subpoenas and even indictment threats - to push the Fed into cutting rates and gain more control over monetary policy is not something we had on our cards. This matters because when markets perceive monetary policy is bending to politics (especially to force lower rates), you typically get a credibility hit first, then a currency / risk-premium hit, and often higher inflation later. The impact depends on whether it’s a system with deep markets (US/UK) or an emerging market where confidence breaks faster (Turkey/Argentina type setups). We've seen similar versions around the world. Even the US has a historical example: in 1942, the Fed agreed to cap/peg Treasury yields to help finance WWII (basically rate control). Stocks absolutely soared during that period. Now add what's being pushed on top: - Trump ordering $200B of MBS buying via Fannie/Freddie - Plus ~$500B defense spending - Proposing a one-year 10% cap on credit card interest rates - The planned purchase of Greenland - Fed buying ~$40B monthly in T-bills All of this highlights how politics is pushing monetary control. We're living in exciting times. If you want to make it through this mess, own hard assets. Bitcoin was built for this kind of world. Gold is already soaring. The real question: is Bitcoin just lagging and will it catch up fast once the pressure lifts? Global liquidity suggests yes. In our data, momentum is rising sharply, and the odds of higher prices keep increasing with each week. Global liquidity has risen +$0.05T (+0.034%)

... and the end result is that Losers in later life fall into a depressive mental state when they realize they haven't achieved anything and everyone has left them. Then they have moments of realization when theyre in their 50s and 60s that they've run out of excuses, cant blame others anymore for their failures and that it was actually them all along that caused their own end result of failure. But then its too late to do anything about it. This is when self destruction / implosion really accelerates for the Loser. Winners on the other hand in later life feel content when looking at and assessing all their achievements and the decisions and hard work they did to get there. Every time adversity in life occured, winners look back and know they used it as fuel to get better, improve and win harder. They know as the end of their life nears, they've lived a resilient and successful life, that was ultimately shaped by their positive predisposition, good decisions and behaviours. Resentment and Envy also create VERY powerful emotions. Winners remind Losers of all of their inadequecies and shortcomings and it drives them absolutely insane.
Joe Rogan Podcast News@joeroganhq

Andrew Huberman: "Someone I really respect said this, 'There are basically two kinds of people in life. Winners and losers.' And the definition is this—losers take things that happen to them... and the wallow and they use it for self or outward destruction." "Winners take whatever they feel, it sucks, and they transmute it into things that are good for themselves and for the world."

Advice to women in their 20s: 1. Make your own money and keep it. Don’t depend on a man. Independence isn’t a personality trait, it’s a power source. 2. Don’t chase love, chase purpose. The right person won’t slow you down, they’ll fuel you. 3. Stop being nice, break the rules. Nice is forgettable. Be kind, be fair, but don’t soften yourself just to be liked. 4. Keep your guard up. Not everyone’s heart is as clean as yours. 5. Don’t overthink, move! Perfect can wait, progress can’t. 6. If you’re beautiful, own it, just don’t rely on it. 7. Have kids later, if ever. Live your life before you raise someone else’s. 8. The world isn’t fair. Accept it, and get stronger instead of bitter. 9. Take care of your body. Your 30s will thank your 20s. 10. And remember, grace outlives beauty. See the world, touch art, learn deeply. Depth is the most magnetic thing you’ll ever wear.
Haseeb >|<@hosseeb

Advice to men in their 20s: 1. Get better at speaking. Do embarrassing stuff like record yourself, Toastmasters, study good speakers and try to emulate them to try out their verbal techniques and see how they fit you. Charisma is the omni-skill. 2. Drink less, or not at all. It will force you to become a better conversationalist. 3. Buy art that your friends make and hang it on your walls. 4. Never lend money to family or close friends. Instead gift it to them, and if they pay you back, consider it a pleasant surprise. 5. Spend most of your money on experiences, not things. 6. Make sure your spending scales sublinearly compared to your income, and you will always feel rich. 7. Take a lot of risks. More risks that you think you should. When you're young, the downsides are never as big as you think, and other people's memories are short. 8. Every man is cobbled together from people they surround themselves with, both physically and mentally. Surround yourself with people you respect. If you never lose friends or never try to acquire better ones, you're doing it wrong. 9. Whenever you feel comfortable that you've made something of yourself, it's time to move on. Move to a bigger city. Try for a more prestigious company. Find the biggest games, and try your hand at them. 10. Say yes to every adventure, at least once. Your 20s are the only time you'll get to do that.

CASH DIES IN 847 DAYS Europe just legislated the end of financial freedom and nobody noticed. January 2027: Every euro above €10,000 becomes illegal tender. Every Bitcoin needs government permission. Every transaction becomes a datapoint in Brussels’ surveillance grid. This is not proposed. This is law. 340 million Europeans will wake up in a cage built from their own bank accounts. THE KILL SHOT The EU Anti-Money Laundering package doesn’t just track criminals. It treats every citizen as one. Starting 2027, buying a car in cash becomes a crime. Sending €1,001 in Bitcoin without state approval triggers prosecution. Anonymous wallets vanish overnight. The Digital Euro arrives 2029. The European Central Bank spent €1.3 billion building what they call freedom. But leaked proposals cap holdings at €3,000 per person. Every purchase tracked. Every pattern analyzed. Every dissent potentially bankable. THE LIE THEY’RE SELLING “This stops money laundering.” Europe launders €500 billion yearly, they claim. So they’re building a panopticon for 340 million people to catch the fraction who commit crimes. China’s digital yuan already programs money to expire, to restrict, to control. The ECB promises Europe will be different. They promised deposit safety in Cyprus too. Then they seized accounts in 2013. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT Privacy coins migrate to the shadows. Black markets replace grey ones. The state gains omniscience. You lose the right to buy bread without permission. This isn’t about crime. It’s about power. €20 trillion flows through the eurozone. Every cent will soon require approval from Frankfurt. The infrastructure of tyranny gets built in the name of safety. Always. THE CLOCK IS RUNNING 847 days until your cash becomes contraband. 1,308 days until the Digital Euro launches. Zero days of mainstream coverage asking the only question that matters: Who decides what you’re allowed to buy when money becomes permission? The European Union just made Orwell an instruction manual. And you heard it here first.
