Nintendo cancelling their CD-ROM deal with PlayStation is probably the biggest "What If" in gaming history.

@moonlitnights_ @IbukiArchive_ @NinEverything It's either wouldn't be profitable enough or would take away sales from what they're trying to sell now, trying to sell a Wii U and a 3DS together wasn't working for them and I don't think adding to the amount of hardware they sell would help then,

Reggie Fils-Aimé said they introduced the NES & SNES Classic because Wii U was on life support:
“The other thing we did is, in two successive years, we launched those micro legacy devices. If you remember those, right? The small NES and then the following year the small SNES. We did that to sustain our business because we needed something to sell at volume come the holiday season. @CrimsynVT_ @Jolene_Donuts Speed Duel had a lot going against it, required you to use specific prints of cards and on top of that people also believed Speed Duel was the reason RUSH duels weren't being localized so it also had that stigma attached to it

I love Yu-Gi-Oh. But, I miss Yu-Gi-Oh. I miss the super edgy anime, where the protagonist was going to die horribly unless they could justify destroying the moon to drain the tide. And you sit back and go "damn... Why didn't I think of that?!" Now there is no edgy anime. More than that, I miss a card game that was simple. I would activate my trap card and my opponent would go "No!" I would summon a monster, set a card face down and end my turn. Now there is 40 steps to a turn, requiring me to remember at least 1000 words of effects of cards in my hand, deck, extra deck, and graveyard. I miss, opening a pack and actually be able to do 'something' with every card (yes, skull servant sucks but, I can still use him). As opposed to modern packs where I open a pack get 5 cards that reference and require 30 other cards that I don't own. Making them all worthless.
