@tuuu28283 Christian religion is why we do not eat them. They are unclean to eat for Humans. Leviticus 11:3: "You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud." (Since horses do not do both, they are excluded).

@tuuu28283 No we don’t eat horse. Well most of us, anyway. It is an ungulate, I suppose. But they’re seen as working companions like dogs. Horses are complex creatures. I couldn’t imagine eating one.
