This is why I'm so conflicted about Trump. While I disagree with most of his policies, he's unquestionably an upstanding man of moral character and great integrity. I wish the Dems had someone like that.

The tax would affect only homes that are worth more than $5 million and are not being used as the primary residence of the owner.
It would raise about $500 million annually to help close the city's budget gap.
Seems like a good idea.
