Outages every night. Just spoke with the customer service rep namedas Melyna requesting planned maintenance outages for the next 30 days so I could plan my work schedule and they were unwilling to provide this. I will be looking into other vendors for Internet and phone service

@xego00x @NoLieWithBTC It’s been well reported and proven there is no sick leave. There is PTO that needs to be scheduled and approved 30 days in advance. If you get sick, need surgery, have childcare issues, or need bereavement you are denied or are heavily penalized as it was unscheduled leave

@NoLieWithBTC I was in the Union for 32 years, always had a paid sick leave, I find it difficult at best to believe that Union railroad workers don't have any paid sick leave I just don't think we're getting the straight story here

Guaranteeing 7 paid sick days to rail workers would cost the rail industry a grand total of $321 million a year – less than 2% of its profits. Please don't tell me the rail industry can't afford it. Rail companies spent $25.5 billion on stock buybacks and dividends this year.

Railroad workers grind themselves to the bone for this country as their labor produces billions for Wall St. They demand the basic dignity of paid sick days. I stand with them. If Congress intervenes, it should be to have workers’ backs and secure their demands in legislation.
