Seen a lot of horrible abuse on Cody Gakpo, and it’s painful to read. No player deserves to be directly abused, and he didn’t cost us the game especially when we had the lead twice as a team. YNWA means You’ll Never Walk Alone. About time we follow this.

Think everyone needs to calm down when talking about Gakpo No doubt he’s in very poor form and I think it’s fine to call that out or say others should be ahead of him However plastering over his social media telling him to get out the club is wrong We are with you Gakpo YNWA❤️

Cody Gakpo’s instagram comment section… seriously pathetic. As soon as a player hits bad form there’s a trend to do this which has no positive impact whatsoever.

Cody Gakpo has 13 goals and 4 assists this season. He never gets more than two games in the same position and basically none in his preferred LW. He had a poor cameo today but I find some of the commentary around him tonight incredibly extreme.
