OR ………………………………… Chelsea release amazing kit, with great 90’s reference and captivating lead up. Chelsea manage to halve wage bill, get rid of players who don’t want to be here and clear bloated squad in record time Nicolas Jackson looks like an exciting player, let’s see how he goes in pre season. Chelsea being intelligent in the transfer market and don’t want to get into a bidding war. Chelsea had an unbelievable deal with Paramount lined up but the PL got cold feet, not our fault. Chelsea finally unearthing young talent that prevents us from having to buy them in 3 years time for 10x the price. It’s optics. You can choose to kick the club you support, or you can choose to support them and understand context in every situation. Ultimately the choice is yours but this is an new era and it’s time to put the past behind us and try and see the positives that are happening at the moment. New manager, new team and new season ahead.

@ArchieStanding He does look so insanely technical but he has such a small frame, I worry about him in the PL and the physicality, especially in season 1

Kerim Alajbegović is an elite talent. Alonso has trained him and knows his potential whilst the owners know they have a player their manager would want whilst also having the ability to make a huge profit on. The type of deal the owners would LOVE Still raw and incredibly young. Such a shame we are in a position where we can’t take risks. This might be one they don’t turn down. 🤷🏽‍♂️

There is no doubt Enzo is clutch (certainly for Argentina, doesn’t do it enough for Chelsea in my eyes) and there is no doubting he is good, sometimes great. My issues haven’t been with that. My issue is the player clearly wanting to leave and the player clearly works better in a 3 man midfield. I have always felt that he doesn’t work in a pivot. Me saying that doesn’t mean I don’t rate him. I just don’t rate him in that system. There is a difference. If he decides to stay (which from what I have heard still isn’t the case) and Alonso is able to find a way to use him where we aren’t run through continuously in transition, then happy days. I spoke about this before, if you build a team around him, there is going to have to be sacrifices. Maresca had to invert a full back, or you have to take out a conventional 10 and only play 3 up top. He was brilliant last night. But a WC game is very different to a Prem game. Different styles, different tempos etc. As a Chelsea fan, I only want what’s best for the team. If that means Enzo stays and stops these flirting games with leaving, then so be it. Let’s see what happens.

Good to know it’s almost the weekend again and nothings moved. Which means another week of Alonso training and no players in or out for him. Another missed opportunity of a week training and getting to know the manager and system down the swanny. Winners and Stew Ball will be getting ready for another BBQ this weekend though. Another 2 days of chilling. 🤢😂🫣🥳

@CRSportTraining @SamIvan13 Being clutch is scoring when it really matters. Scoring against Brighton for a Saturday 3pm game when drawing 1-1 is equally as clutch as scoring the winner v Spurs. I agree ☝🏼

@ArchieStanding @SamIvan13 I'd actually argue he's clutch but doesn't turn up enough in lesser games. For 100m you need both. You can't score the winner against Spurs but not turn up against the bottom 7 every season
