@Archie__MD Probably true honestly 😂I can Kinduve articulate why it didn’t work for me but it’s hard to even put it into words. I think I just found the themes to be presented poorly and the plot that carried those themes to be very flat.

I read the entirety of Dorohedoro back in late 2023. I did not like it & rated it a 5/10. It sent me into a deep manga reading slump & I didn’t read much at all in 2024 because of it. Since then my perspective hasn’t really changed and I think I maybe would rate it even lower?

Or…it’s a highly acclaimed manga that has won several awards, written and drawn by a highly acclaimed illustrator with a dedicated fanbase, and the MARKETING team (ppl whose job is to promote stuff) see that and are taking advantage

"Journal with Witch" Anime ended today and is undoubtedly the Anime of the Year for me. It adapted 7 of 11 volumes, so you can start from Chapter 36 of the manga. But still I recommend to start from the beginning since it's only 54 chapters long.
