This is my initial Teach list for OP16 🔥🔥🔥 (Moria = 8 cost Teach, Reject = 8 cost Event ZEHAHA) I think 5 cost Kuzan probably won’t find space because you have very few targets worth playing with him, and I don’t really have enough slots in the list. On top of that, I think Sanjuan is only strong in the late game, so you would mainly use him in combination with Shiryu or Borsalino, which is why I’m only playing 2 copies at the moment. I’m still not sure whether 4 cost Burgess is worth playing or not, since there are too many ways to remove him in this meta. Right now I’m also not adding Fullalead, because the deck doesn’t really rely on seeing multi-card combinations, so I didn’t want to include a card that creates a straight -1 in hand.

I think we don’t need Black Hole and Black Vortex. Imho Black Hole is literally unplayable. Black Vortex is decent but the trigger is useless and you also can’t play it on turn 1, it’s only good if you use My Era Begins on turn 1 to mill something. I think Lilith is much better, it’s a counter and also has a stronger trigger

@ViolentWorldo You usually dont have spare dons late game, you have 2 dons if you use zehaha and that’s it

@AngeloT_OP They either end up in trash through My Era or stage or you pitch them or use them for leader ability or the just got KO’d or used. Theres a million ways cards end of in the trash especially late game

Lilith is still pick up from top 4 as a gamble. This you can search into, and pick up ANY trigger card from your trash late game which is like much better than a MAYBE search what you need

@AngeloT_OP but like the main effect bringing back anything with a trigger seems so versatile, maybe getting a 2k or a important late game card that you triggered in the early game

@peepeitos It’s good to bypass blockers but useless in early/mid game

@AngeloT_OP I’m a fan of black vortex but not really feeling black hole. Prefer the old op09 black hole. What are your thoughts?

@MaximilianKhn9 I think boa is really good when going 1st. Playing boa on 9 into zehahah teach on 10 is completely broken

@BantisGeorgios @AngeloT_OP I think zehahahahahahhaaha makes the Lucy a lot better bc 10c turns my hand into bricks. Stops a blocker and now you can force me to not be healthy as well

@BantisGeorgios The main issue is that they can still reduce it and swing over it, also you need 8 cards in trash to make it good into bari pistol, but it’s still hard for them to remove it, we’ll see

@AngeloT_OP Have heard that the Lucy mu is horrible for Teach, would consider to keep 4C Burgess for this if deck can efficiently mill early. Haven’t tested it at all though.

@Skwigglee I think sanjuan is still situational tho, even with 8c teach

@AngeloT_OP I agree that Sanjuan felt quite weak as a trigger before, however I believe it is much stronger now with 8Teach when your opponent doesn’t expect it compared to say 6shiryu revealing the information. If your opponent sees it they will just poke 5, forcing you to take then do 7’s
