@AuthorGoodwin Somewhat. Best advice I got is read your market and read what you like (presumably the two categories overlap). I love modern stories, and I still enjoy certain older works that may contain more description, less action, and move at a slower pace.

Do you think it's important for a writer to have read the "classics"? Personally, I've read very few of them. The only one that springs to mind is Lord of the Rings, if that counts. Couldn't get into Dickens, too slow for me! #WritingCommunity #writersoftwitter #writers

Now you buy a charger and air pods after buying a phone. What's next? Phones won't come with batteries and you have to buy that separately? I cannot believe we are okay with this

I cannot believe we are okay with phone companies selling mobile phones without chargers, like Apple started this nonsense and Samsung and Google has followed them. A few years ago you get a charger, ear piece, pouch and screen guard all for free, this is actually upsetting.

Too many people wait until they're exhausted or depressed to make change or seek help. Mental health isn't something to put on the back burner. We can't keep good habits in storage until we need them. Mental hygiene should be as ingrained in our daily routine as dental hygiene.

I was supposed to go the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research annual members meeting in Boulder this week. Instead, this statement will be read tomorrow to all the member representatives on my behalf. One of the most difficult things I have ever had to write.
