On 12th March there will be the first #SchoolArchivesDay! Supported by the School Archives and Records Association, we are calling on school archives and organisations that hold school records to celebrate this day with us! Why not post some of your fab images of your records!

This signed etching of @GlasgowAcademy from Great Western Rd, is by Wilfred Crawford Applebey (1889-1958) He studied at @GSofA and exhibited 48 works at the Glasgow Institute, 3 at Liverpool’s Walker Galley & 14 at the Royal Scottish Academy during his career.

Here are some beautifully #ColourfulArchives from the Edmund Potter and Company collection. The firm was based in Glossop and produced wonderfully colourful fabrics during the 19th and 20th centuries. Edmund was also grandfather to author Beatrix Potter. #Archive30
