One of the problems is that when you wait for years to have kids, trying to accumulate enough wealth so that you can raise children “comfortably” or whatever, your marriage becomes frail and brittle. You haven’t allowed yourselves to be tested. You haven’t met any resistance. The union atrophies. You get bored. Then one serious challenge comes along and you fall apart. You weren’t ready for it. My wife and I have been together 15 years, started out broke. Six kids and a decade and a half later, we’ve been tried and tested a million times. We’ve been through the fire together. Problems come along and we deal with them. It’s nothing we haven’t seen before. Now we have the confidence of people who’ve been through the wringer. We have a sense of shared experience and shared achievement. We built this life together. We both belong here. That’s the great benefit of getting married and starting a family young. Get in on the ground floor with each other. Start at the bottom hand in hand.

As we keep weekly updates rolling in Early Access for Hytale, we're also working in parallel on larger content updates, delivered as chapters, that will slowly unfold the Cursebreaker story arc. When it reaches the final chapter, Orbis will be within reach and the game will be fully released! If you've been playing the Exploration Mode, you've probably noticed that the curse is quiet at the moment. That will change as the first chapter begins, and you'll need to make difficult choices that carry lasting consequences for the world around you, and yourself. Keep in mind, we're not going deep on narrative for Early Access, however, the Cursebreaker arc is how you'll see the game progress, chapter by chapter. It's a journey we share with the community, and when it's done, it becomes a memory for those who were there. Hytale has a lot of potential, and that's a responsibility we don't take lightly. We're bringing in the right people and we can finally just focus on making a great game. No funding concerns, fully independent. All that's left is to work hard, have fun and keep engaging with our amazing community.

@Prowl8413 I have zero issues with this specific “challenge” format. I have found several high quality games via a video like this, including the incredible vintage story. A video sharing hytale gameplay is a good thing, challenge videos are a ton of fun to make.

Can we agree as a Hytale community to shame whatever creators start doing 100 days videos in Hytale? Let's see some good let's plays!

@TobyrangerYT I get the feeling that the spec requirement are going to be pretty minimal Minecraft is a remarkably unoptimized game, you really see that after playing things like Vintage Story. I have high hopes for running this on my rather old machine.

Tomorrow we are getting Hytale's PC Requirements. I really hope that DLSS or any form of upscaling is not needed to run the game without a beefy computer. I'm excited to comment on tomorrow's reveals ! Let's get it ⛏️💻

Hytale early access date is now set for January 13, 2026. This is true early access, meaning it’s still very much unfinished and broken, but you have my and the team's commitment to make Hytale the game we’ve always wanted it to be. The game isn't good yet; eventually, it will be. If you don’t feel comfortable pre-ordering or participating in Early Access, please don’t. Hytale and Hypixel Studios are independent again, and we are returning to the original vision from the 2018 trailer. Because we went back to an older game build from 4 years ago that was now meant for prototyping, some parts of the game will feel behind, but our momentum is strong, and we’re working fast to make this into the game we all dreamed of. Modding and creative tools are in a decent state; however, they’re not where we want them long term. That being said, they’re ready for players who want to create content on day 1. This is a good moment for modders, server owners, and creators to step in early! They will play a significant role in Hytale’s future.
