@PLoobuyck Toch opletten, Patrick.

@Zarkkill @JustBotBecky @Real_GirlWorld I do not think "caring" is the right word. I think it is "Having decided that the relationship is valuable and therefor this minor inconvenience is not worth fighting for." I heard it described as "peace".

@JustBotBecky @Real_GirlWorld Your husband is very lucky to have such a caring wife, very happy for you. This is the exact way a mature adult handles relationships. If you love someone you don't intentionally antagonize them.

Husband Shaming is a disgusting humiliation ritual that men do NOT deserve. YOU chose him, married him for better or for worse; he devotes his life to you, his time, his energy, and you reward him by shaming him publically?? Only the women who do this look terrible, not the men they humiliate.

@JustBotBecky @Real_GirlWorld "I know love is an open door but can you close the cabinet doors again?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 "You're the light of my life but you forgot to turn off the bedroom, bathroom and hallway lights again." 🤣🤣🤣 I'm gonna steal those.😎😎😎

Exactly this. Four good reasons I'd never do this to my husband: 1. I have bad habbits that annoy him too, noone is perfect. 2. He would never do this to me either. 3. I know I'd be upset if he would do this to me. 4. I love him, I would never do something on purpose to upset him. Rather than getting angry at him or shame him online, I'll make light of his bad habbits by joking "I know love is an open door but can you close the cabinet doors again?" or "You're the light of my life but you forgot to turn off the bedroom, bathroom and hallway lights again."

@serendistant @puddy811 @PebMet1 @thunderf00t Explosions, water impact ( rapid cooling, physical damage), structural integrity gone .... It may work but it does complicates things to where I wouldn't bother. But I admit; I'm not a space engineer. I doubt you have done any engineering job in your life.

@BartGonnissen Wat ik niet zo goed snap in deze is: Als plaatser van de "mijn" zou ik die laten exploderen voor de boot de volgende haven aandoet. Zou het laten exploderen dan mislukt moten zijn of heb ik het mis?

1. Russians claim "mine" was placed at anchor (steenbank). Draught of vessel at that time 100dm. 2. "Mine" was placed under waterline at approx 74dm draught mark aft, ps. 3. Ship entered port and unloaded to draught 65dm. "Mine" now approx 1m above waterline. 4. Ship leaves port with visible "mine" on hull. Pilot would check draught marks on departure. "Mine" attached right next to marks. "Mine" is not noticed by several pilots, linesmen, tugs, etc... 5. Story highly unlikely

@puddy811 @serendistant @PebMet1 @thunderf00t That would work. However that would require you to have the object intact after use, to allow for a proper study of the "damage". After 12 flights not 1 single starship was even close to "good enough to investigate metal wear properly" So that does not look like the plan to me.

@Arduino_jantje @serendistant @PebMet1 @thunderf00t What if you work down to one use, then work up to two uses. That gives you the base rate and a marginal rate for improvement. Now you know how to make it 20 times better to get your desired number of uses.

@serendistant @PebMet1 @thunderf00t In my experience: it does not work that way. You need to know how many times you want to reuse it. And then see what the bare minimum is for so many reuses. That is because you need to know how much wear you have (and what type of wear) per use.

@Arduino_jantje @PebMet1 @thunderf00t Having a heatshield thats reasonably above the bare minimum saves mass, while still providing margin for error. They need to know the bare minimum to account for such margin. Just like how SH lands w/ high AoA it means less fuel for landing which saves mass & means more to orbit

@PebMet1 @thunderf00t Yes. Thats exactly what I said. They were playing around with using new METALLIC tiles, instead of the *proven* CERAMIC ones. Thats whats causing the orange color, since it's the metallic tiles degrading from the heat. Again, theyre trying to figure out what the BARE MINIMUM is.

The Feminization of the Universities "We are a group of four persons, assigned female at birth, identifying as queer and non-binary, residing in India. We ruminate about the need and politics of queer nurturing. We...identify as academic activists...We are queer folks embroiled in turbulent political moments that translate to violent casteist and classist affronts on the ground. Therefore, we look to the promise of nurturing as we almost break when we break each other’s fall. This promise is manifested in our connections to each other, i.e. the authors. Nurturing is all we have against violent encounters, institutional backlashes and dying elders." "Feminist activists strive to incorporate an understanding of self and collective care into their personal and professional spheres through an alternative lens. The organisational and collective spaces they are a part of also play a crucial role in determining their feminist experiences. There are ongoing efforts through peer-counselling workshops, narrative-based workshops, organisational and community retreats and youth leader trainings, among others, to establish the need to look at self-care and collective care as essential elements of activism, build a language around it, speak it and communicate it to others across generations. However, a tension exists around the slippery tendency of care (both self and collective) to take recourse in capitalist furnishings. Deluging oneself with care products and practices that only serve capitalist consumption alienates the self." "In this piece, we have shared our understandings of feminist and queer nurturing. We have situated them within collective and movement histories, as well as political anchors, in grief, pain, exhaustion and collective and self-care, all grounded in radical compassion. Our writings reiterate how queer nurturance is all about building resilience to the capitalist and neoliberal industries of individualism, violence and alienation."

@puddy811 @MrStephenTee @RealPaulElam I guess you have not heard of machining porn. Plenty of it to see on youtube. How machines cut pieces of metal and leave a beautiful surface. It is one type of porn I watch daily. 😎

Feminists never talk about this because it was a classic example of the real world debunking their fantasy of gender pay gap. >Google >Conducted internal pay equity study in 2019 >Expected to find women underpaid compared to men >Instead discovered more men were underpaid for similar work >Gave pay raises to thousands of men (majority of $9.7 million went to men) >Feminists and media immediately called the study “flawed” This is what happens when a company actually checks the real data instead of pushing the narrative.
