I’ve worked on a lot of games over the years and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about how this franchise affected so many players’ lives. The global reach is really impressive to witness. I’ve not seen such an outpouring of affection for a series, in the gaming world, to the level I’ve seen with this game. Pretty spectacular, warriors.

@RickKackis Using the Destiny IP for this reason again is absolutely going to happen.
I'm just saying creating a D3, the way we all would want it, doesn't "hit" the younger demos like it once did. It's a risk to target an aging demo. But things go in cycles. I'm hopeful it'll happen.

At the age of 16, me and my best friend (who gave me the name 'rebulast'), picked up our midnight release editions of Halo 3, sped home, told our parents it was important, and played more Halo than you could imagine.

To any Bungie devs who see this, I want to thank you for your support of the D2 artist community over the years. Seeing real Bungie devs support my work was one of the coolest parts of high school, and it made me realize I could pursue film and animation as a career. Thank you.

Thank you, Destiny 2, for the great memories and fun times over the years. I would not have the friends that I have now without this game. It's sad to see things come to an end, hopefully we see a return someday in the future.
