Let me be clear (a thread): Those "all over the place" feelings you've been having? They are symptoms of stress, NOT personal failures of yours. Do you feel FLAKEY + INCONSISTENT? That's b/c your brain doesn't know what news to brace for next, or what next month will hold.

Before making a rainbow logo, companies should have to upload health care policies, which should include trans- and queer-inclusive plans for transitioning, all-gender parental leave &c. If your policies don’t support the ideologies you parade, it’s performative marketing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Using correct identifiers and pronouns isn’t just about accuracy – it’s about affording all individuals the respect and dignity that everyone deserves. By using non-gendered terms and asking for pronouns, we make sure we do not put anyone at risk.

Pronouns are a quick way to refer to someone or to ourselves: she, he, they, etc. Pronouns are often (but not always) gendered, meaning they relate to a person’s identity.

Assuming someone’s gender can sometimes lead to misgendering. When trans people are misgendered, they often experience fear, depression, invalidation, and even violence.

@KimiMoonsicle @maxmasure For some, being misgendered is already an act of violence towards their identity. Without talking about potential violence if a trans person is outed in a public space.
